Yes I know. I don’t recall more than a meal or two on my Oceania cruises that were to point I’d actually be critical, would just write it off as nothing is perfect. Guess I just don’t have that fine palate as some possess.
It still shows on their website during the booking process that in the PH an iPad is available on request. Not sure if that request needs to be made in advance or with your butler upon embarking.
I just pulled up a few cruises for sale now and under PH I don’t see that reference to that amenity. Only under the higher tiers. Also I don’t see it listed when looking at the ships information on their website. Perhaps it has recently changed??
Per their website it indicates for the R class ships the PH suites board at 11:00 along with the upper tiers, but for Marina, Riviera and Vista it is Noon for the PH suites, an hour later than the upper tiers. Again, just per their website and however accurate that may or may not be.
I was just asking a general question on how it works for a Grand Voyage as have one next year and was simply wondering how it works. And thought perhaps maybe you have had one in the past or anyone else.
Sorta like the rules state a limit of 6 bottles can be brought onboard and is strictly enforced?? And the guidelines on attire? And the rules on chair hogs at the pool? Not many on this site seem to understand the 6 bottle limit it would seem.
They allow you to leave with wine you have been served at dinner. I saw many leaving the GDR and Terrace Cafe with a glass of wine. Never saw at specialty restaurants. So I followed and joined the tradition.
Exactly. And thanks for the information as will be there on a cruise next year. It could be simply they are almost equally bad but address the ones closest instead of shutting them all down and losing the industry. In looking at google map it really does appear that the ones remaining open are closer to the open sea which could most likely mean less impact on the city center.
Was on Vista in May, and would hear some announcements but had to open door to actually hear what was being said. No different than a prior cruise on Marina. As someone said most likely based upon location of room to the speakers.
Agree, who knows what may have happened when they entered. We just kind of rolled our eyes and failed to notice them after their entry. Why let someone’s poor taste ruin my experience!
