  1. And his wife, Patricia, is as kind as can be. We love them both! Sorry to hear about the crash with the food tray.
  2. I have not noticed that before. Thanks edit: I don’t see that option available but I’m sure I just have to poke around.
  3. this is all I see … but do tell if there’s a web version I should be trying.
  4. Oh, my mistake! look at your travel summary on your personalizer (it’s a small link up top where you can print out your luggage tags). All your perks you received should be listed on that page.
  5. I have not found a place to make dining reservations outside of the app since before the restart.
  6. For a full suite, they will be saving some room in the specialty restaurants for you on the first or maybe even the second night. If you make those reservations ahead of time, you will be charged. As for the premier package, you won’t have to have anybody upgrade it for you although, the crew does get credit for selling it or upgrading it, so I usually just try to find someone to do that. But, you can always just do the upgrade in the app under Payment Methods and Packages. It won’t be hard either way (although they will be changing to a new app next month so not sure if that place on the app will look as it does in the current app). You shouldn’t be charged if you make a reservation ahead of time and you already have the premier package. I say shouldn’t because I made 10 reservations successfully with the premier package for my upcoming cruises and yet, was charged for one of them. So odd but I believe one was because I moved one of my reservations to a different date so it ended up charging me. Just of note, and I could be wrong, but I thought the packages were only sold as $50 and now $60, making the upgrade to the premier $30 per day pp. if you booked the Princess insurance along with that cruise, you will also pay the increase in the insurance costs. I recently upgraded from the older $50 plus to the premier for a 10 night cruise and it was $650 total with the insurance costs added.
  7. In your cruise planner on the website, go into your particular cruise and then click on Payments. From there, you see see a button right below where it states ‘UPGRADE NOW’. If you are onboard, you will be able to purchase it through your app under Payment Methods and Packages.
  8. Sometimes it is my meal and I just happen to have a drink with it. 😆
  9. I think it must have opened sometime between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. We always went to go see Leo Rossi’s shows in the theater and would stop by to grab a morning drink before we went in. We also had our cruise critic meet and greet in there and it was open for that, as well.
  10. They were so good! On the Sky, you will have to go into Take 5 and say ‘hi’ to our adopted son, Amel, for us. That’s his bar for now on the Sky. Just let him know it’s Kenny and Lisa .. I’m sure he has a lot of adopted parents. He will make you a fabulous drink.
  11. We had the premier package so, it was covered. I don’t remember the pricing. they brought a similar table out to the piazza a couple of the mornings we were at sea but with bloody Mary’s and mimosas. The great thing was the Bloody Mary’s and Caesar’s were made with all the fixings, such as shrimp, bacon, celery, olives, cheese, lime, etc. you could even get one that was actually spicy. They mentioned that those were $2 over the plus package limit but they’d give you as many additions as you wanted.
  12. @Thrak we we’re just on the Discovery last month and indeed, the Take 5 bar was open early on sea days. I’d actually get a mimosa at times to take it to one of the events in the theater. That’s a much better short cut if you don’t like walking through a smoky casino. The first week we were there must have been right after that casino tournament as there were still 3 large slot machines that were pushed towards the end of the room. The second week, they had disappeared. it was hardly ever crowded and such a wonderful place to get a drink and relax. I attached a copy of the gin cart that was in there mentioned above.
  13. We do that and neither of us are very challenged I do have knees that don’t like any herky jerky motion, though. I only make an exception for Kona and Loreto. We rarely tender in Cabo or Santa Barbara as that water can just be too rough.
  14. Celebrity has an area out in the aft of the ship on one side where cigar and cigarette smoking is allowed. Believe me when I say, it’s a lot less annoying outside than walking by Snookers or Churchill’s or through the casino to go to the theater.
  15. @HaveDogWillTravel, thank you for posting this great news. I may rethink the packages as well now the bottle packages are available. As for the packages, if you purchase them ahead of time on the website prior to your B2B cruises, you can purchase for each leg separately. Once you are onboard, your B2B is combined under your app. The caveat being that if you also purchase the Princess Vacation Protection, purchasing it ahead of time will raise the cost of your insurance. That’s no small price on longer sailings.
  16. Nothing makes me feel sicker than smoking and strong perfume / cologne. I’ve had CoVid three times and was never as sick as when asthma sets in from those toxic fumes.
  17. It is included on the items included in their package. So, anything beyond two specialty dinners if you have the premier package, but casual dining is unlimited so, no extra charges for that. With the plus package, anything beyond the two included casual meal will incur a service charge and any specialty dining will also incur a charge. Standard fare will automatically incur a charge in all specialty and casual dining venues and although not specifically stated, probably the food ordered via the app that already has a charge attached, such as pizza, sushi, steaks, etc.
  18. That point is in my survey each and every time. Celebrity banned all indoor smoking a long time ago and they are still filling their casinos.
  19. It already happened on the Royal and soon to change on the Discovery. While some are probably upset about it, I think most people are happy about the change. It’s obvious to remain or regain profitability, cruiselines are going to have to appeal to new cruisers. I feel like it is a step in the right direction.
  20. Even with the loyalty status reciprocal benefits, the highest level they can have is Elite (and not elite plus) on Celebrity.
  21. The Hollywood Conservatory is generally very quiet. I would have no qualms about booking one of those cabins. Oh, and that noodle bar! I’d be there all the time if I had a room in that location.
  22. I got a tray of really nice stuffed ones last year on the Ruby. From time to time, they may just have them available.
  23. I will check into that. I know my friends went on those Flower Power cruises several times and always loved them. I will keep my eyes open for something out of the west coast.
