Yep and then I read I'm on a journey cruise, no priority debark. Its every man for himself because it's a expensive journey cruise. Carnival isnt thinking correctly about this. Even if there are more diamonds .. give them priority and then platinum .. why penalize journey cruises? Stupid. Carnival gives so few perks, I want priority debark.

I see the studio rates. When insides are a lot lower than other categories if I click thru past the page with prices to a booking page, skips right thru pick a inside cabin. ..then I know that's a studio price. Another site I can see it's a studio .. but catching on with rcl. This time I could use my DP340 code to book the inside gty. My TA booked it. Just said gty for a couple of weeks then gave me the studio assignment. No way to see that one coming. Even my TA was surprised I could get a studio ...maybe the dp340 code is a reduced supplement, but it's still a solo supplement. My TA is very good and knowledgeable and he didnt know it could happen until it did. And then ship said sold out. He tried too to get it changed but it was so sad too bad. I dont think if you pay even a 50% solo supplement you should get a studio.

Yep I finally got a gty, and I'm the one got assigned a studio. Imo if I pay any solo supplement giving me a studio is just plain wrong. I no showed. Ship sold out and to change cost more than the cruise. I had a broken wrist and couldnt have slept in one twin bed which is what I got The only way I knew to get around gty was to book a fake 2nd pax. Now I'm doing group rates which sometimes is close to gty rates. Rcl makes me dance to get my rates, but at least there is a way.

My post where I called a sell a few days ago turned out so far to be the high, just over 105. Since my sell call lower highs. On the other hand ccl that sold off worse imo it's been going higher ever since since rcl stalled out. Rcl right now coukdnt go higher so will pull back until its strong enough but not now I agree with you. Used to be able to lay charts on top of each other. Rcl is a failed rally imo, more apt to sell off than go higher. Compare to ccl higher each day, though I think it will run into resistance at $20. I am betting I can buy lower. You hope it will hold. Who knows, I'm reading the charts. Both of these are 5 day charts .. notice ccl is still chugging higher, rcl lower each day, which is a bad trend line. We can look back in 5 days and see which or if rcl held or went higher or sold off.

The week before I was sat with 3 siblings and 2 had wives. The 5 of them were posting on here as if I wanted to sit with them. They were the rude folks. First in 20 years ever so bad. She was heavily drinking. They asked to be moved to sit together. Fine. She was doing a live report and posted here on cc they sat up at their new table giggling and hiding behind menus for fear I might come by and say hello. Wouldnt have recognized them. Oasis class can be a discount of 29.99 a day perhaps, supposed to cover one day of wifi.. click, what you want, 1 day, or rest of the cruise. It shows the price minus the discount. Click purchase if that's what you want. I requoted my own post explaining it's easy onboard since you are asking what I just answered.

akcruz is correct, the discount is only onboard. I wanted to add when you log it and click to purchase, the discount amount will be stated on the page, do you want to use the discount to purchase one day, rest of cruise. Easy to figure out onboard. If it's a couple they can take turns using their day.

Tables for 14 dont exist is what they are telling you. If you are very lucky 2 tables close to each other. Rcl hasnt done well that I've seen with dining seating.

If it's a really good promo price its booked in a couple of hours. If you dont see the price on rcl, its booked up.

Yes I was commenting I checked the xmas/nye sailing in 2024 on odyssey and it took the solo discount code. Supposedly the code isnt good on holiday sailings but it went thru on this one. Also worked for xmas dec 21 2024 adventure holiday sailing. ..though the nye adventure ots does not take the code. ..lol so I booked the xmas adventure solo for 2024. It was just to let solos know in case they were looking for deals.

If you decide to do celebrity be sure and transfer your rcl loyalty status. Status transfers. I've done all the same lines you have plus celebrity. Loyal to my wallet. Not yet to the point I would decide on a ship based on elevators. ..though I do have a end of boardwalk booked on the new utopia. It is a long walk back there. Also done a aft corner. Another long walk on rcl but loved the aft. No elevators on the end of oasis class .. boardwalk is a walk back on all ships. Imo it's the drink pkgs on carnival and rcl have the most differences especially out of texas. I do wish carnival had more pay restaurants discounts I could prebook. I miss that too. The last excursions I did on rcl mostly booked black friday I got 35% off. I think carnival could sure push prebooking deals.

I'd like to know why royal rarely let's solos book gtys. I used to book them all the time on other lines but royal doesnt have gty option when booking solo. Maybe too many with the DP340 code so they dont want solo to get discounted and also lower prices. Always seemed unfair to me to not let solo book gty. Yes I know use a fake 2nd person, but why.

When you sign into your booking there should be something right up top saying how much credit you have to spend.

I bet somehow accidentally they applied the obc to the wrong cruise.

Just curious so I pulled up the holiday sailing for odyssey. It took the DP340 code. Odd which sailings it applies or doesnt.

I would pick middle around deck 10, to see thru the slide. Further aft is closer to the equa theatre. One thing I didnt expect was the angle. It's still off to the side enough 2 balcony chairs cant really sit side by side and see.,you about have to stand up and see.

Boy I agree they are doing a lousy job of matching up tables. They used to try a bit. Allure b2b first I got a family group of 5 who wanted to visit and came from different areas. So rude to me. It wasnt my idea to sit with them. I talked to the head waiter who assured me the following week would be better. They sat me 11th at a ten top of 10 family. Never gave me my own seat. I've been moved and you name it. Worst match ups ever. Oasis I got moved so someone in a wheelchair could have my table fine .. send me a note with my new table dont change me and I go sit down and new couple comes in very aggressive. This is the thing they are terrible at lately.

I do find it harder to find a shady quiet spot on these new bigger ships. I'm older than you and supposed to avoid direct sun. I only mentioned the adult rule doesnt apply to the solarium area where you eat because I see people all the time complaining about kids in there.

Odd numbers hold more than 2 pax is all so 1D 3D 5D hold at least 3. 2D and 4D and 2 pax. Lower numbers are supposed to be better locations. Used to be a 6D. Idk if they are all gone.

It would be more for sure owned in 2 separate accounts. You dont have to keep and hold the shares once you get the obc. If it gets rejected I'd just buy 100 shares in a different account.
