Lobster is still served. If I read it correctly, now a limit of 2, extras are $5 each which is still reasonable. I've never had sweet and sour shrimp. Never saw this either. Sorry read it wrong. I've had creme brulee but the best I've had was in JiJis. Muster is done on your app now, just go to your muster station and get checked off. No groups or only a few there at the same time.

I've done vista and dream since covid and agree theh have not stepped up their game. What they do good is still good. Better pizza, fast food and comedy show. What I didnt like was the new cut of steak which used to be a skirt steak. I tried it once and was all gristle. What worked for me was doing pay restaurants. JiJis is exceptional and $18. Some prefer the italian. 2 nights I went to the seafood thing in the aft and ordered lobster rolls with butter. Delicious. I did the Japanese and did the let the chef choose and didnt like that, I'd do sushi next time. Their pay restaurants are much less expensive than rcl and celebrity..go and take advantage of what they do well. I did the steak house 2 nights, for surf and turf. Try the white pizza, my favorite. They make the crust from scratch .. much better. Jijis especially since few ships have this. It's a dont miss for me.

If she is thinking like me I dont want another brand new expensive ship out of PC. I'd like something low $$$$. So I can stay on longer without guilt.

My idea to move was 2 years ago during covid. I think cruises were still shut down when I came up with moving here. Condo prices were on fire when I was looking and no one thought they woukdmslow down when I bought. It wasnt until last year the dreaded R word, recession started and predictions of a crash which luckily didnt happen. At least the beach is gorgeous here. I still have to sell my house in texas and all the work to move. Uggh. I need a magic wand to make it happen. I dread it. 2021 to me actually isnt so long ago but a lot changed. Prices on oceanfront condos would still be higher had I not jumped in when I did. But not that long ago to me. Maybe it depends on your age if 2 years is a long time ago.

There are JS now available for 4/4/25 but I guess you arent still interested. I think I was looking wrong date but JS comes up now but probably too late for you to want to change. Prices are HIGH.

I'm eye balling moving there fall 2024, so wonder feb 2025 is what it is for bellas. At least I hope indent have to fly and will be moved there by then. The price for wonder for bellas is even higher than 8 day adventure. I'm excited about seeing new ports I can get to from florida. My jan 2024 carnival cruise does aruba and curacao... but not bonaire .. so right now I havent seen any of the ABC but scheduled there next jan out of Galveston. 4/4/25 adventure was a for sure for me to also see bonaire. Yes come join us. Bellas 2 is wonder 2/2/25. I considered those dates, but dont like the 4/12 ports. And the price for 6 days isnt good, I'm just now booking so current prices which probably have gone up. 4/12 to grand Bahamas is a junk port? And Jamaica. .I like the ports better 4/18 eastern but it doesnt make good sense to get off for 6 days. I was arguing with myself yesterday and finally booked just 4/4... and the 2 in dec 2024. So I'm doing the 6 day over Christmas. First time over the holiday so it still feels odd. Lost my mom in January so just now can do it over a holiday. I might still book more but the prices arent exactly awesome to me. I just want the new ports. Bonaire 4/4 will be new for me. DR and St Croix will be new to me 12/13 ..I'm booking for the new ports more so than the ship. I guess I'm the only one who is booking right now and thinking the prices are high for adventure.

We might finally meet. I just booked 4/4 southern 8 days .. bella2 is feb 2, so I wanted to push out a bit after winder. I considered b2b2b .. but was looking at 4/4, 4/12 and 4/18 adventure. .. but only booked the 4/4 yesterday. Also booked adventure 12/13 and 12/21/24, and those 2 legs similar to the next 2 legs after 4/4 ...would i want almost the same again. If you book we will meet 4/4. Not many southern to ABC offered. Well actually out of Galveston they do call you by loyalty level, at least early on. Every time after the priority of suites, pinns and hc and key boarded, D+ was called. They checked that I was D+. The time before that D+ I was sat in a different area than lower levels. And they called us then by levels. D + called again after priority group. I'm just saying I know they called by status levels for early boarding time. They didnt call all at the same time like you say. I'm sure.

Maybe once they board go to the loyalty ambassador and get him to match it once she has a C & A number. That way she can still use it onboard.

I read thru the posts and really the policy is she doesnt have a status until she sailed and then she can match his status. The poster above called many times and was able to get someone to give her a status before she sailed but topnote pointed out that is not the written policy. So it's a matter of finding someone who might break the policy or do it after her first cruise as the written policy.

I dont think the concept of less service for the same money is lost on anyone living in america. Imo the premise of the thread doesnt get this. The services were cut to save money. If they cut the auto tips then there was no point in cutting services, people would continue to expect the same service for the same money. Either tips and money paid by pax for their cruise will go up or services down. Already I read here ncl is over $20 a day form tips. If not cutting services like their competitors then the prices have to go up. Everyone is cheering we are only at 4.9% inflation.. that adds up. And it's been higher adding up. Do people really want a higher end service and pay more for twice a day cabin service or maybe make it optional, pay a little more for twice a day. Like the key, more service and optional things for a fee. Inflation and govt spending is not under control. Either things like services and cruise prices just keep going up or there are cuts. Or rcl never gets profitable and eventually goes bankrupt if no one will pay what it costs to run. Make it for a optional fee?

Rcl did 3 of the 10 day cruises to Panama and Columbia, didnt go to costa rico. I missed it jan 30. I was a no show, but did the 10 day march 27 to april 6. Just got back last month. I'm booked for carnival dream 14 days but I've seen some others going there. .. just not in 8 days. If I werent moving to florida imdont think this price is too bad for 10 days miracle to Panama and limon costa rico. I'd do this one.

Usually the fare included stuff does not transfer, obc, cheers etc. I had a cheers included rate but if I changed woukd have lost the drinks. I think they told you wrong, the tips included did not transfer to a new different rate. They messed up and told you wrong. Now what I dont know. Also if obc is part of your rate it doesnt transfer to a new rate.

I only have the one next January for 14 days. What they call a journeys cruise where they have special talks or events onboard. Goes to new ports for me. I'm about done with texas by next year I think. But idk when I booked it that my mom would pass and I would be free to move. I just dont want to fly. One more stress. I like ncl and celebrity and princess too. I have done them all. .. or I'd be pinnacle here.

Thanks for the answer. I love real estate so I'll be following what you see and decide. I considered northern calif but decided too far from airports etc. I looked around before I decided cape Canaveral or cocoa beach. I love Hawaii and the ocean and mountains..lived there 10 years. So also know the downside. No place is perfect.

On carnival I always read how much friendly crew and stewards are vs other lines. I'm not sure but carnival pax claim the crew is happier to work on carnival. Carnival had a skirt steak and changed to something that to me was all gristle. Not a whimper. Bacon still every other morning at the buffet, they post go get a blt and dont post endless threads about the cut backs. 2 increases in tips, and cut back to once a day cabin cleaning. I dont see the complaints like I see here. I like their lunches but find almost nothing for dinner so do more pay restaurants that are just as good as rcl but cheaper. Their pay italian still gives free wine the first night. Is $18 and people rave over the tomahawk pork chop. I can still get surf and turf at their steak house. Lobster and a smaller filet. Mardi gras and her sisters are moving toward more pay restaurants. They are mostly pretty reasonable to me. Though they have gone up, still well priced. I just see a lot more people who take increases and cut backs in stride on carnival. I read their boards almost daily so if there was the same outrage I see here, I'd have seen it. People think it's just pinnacles who act entitled, but I see it as a rcl issue. Go look for yourself. They also have once a day, do you see any threads like this over there?

You also have to be in a connecting promenade. Once I upgraded to a non connecting when prices dropped, then it came open. By then I'd have had to pay extra to move back to a connecting promenade so I let it go. Right at the beginning of covid and opening back up they made 2 different categories of promenade cabins.
