  1. You are going to upset some people 😀
  2. You can expect those prices to increase soon. Royal Caribbean just raised their gratuity and removed CA from their AI package. Carnival will follow suit, probably in both ways. Just a matter of time.
  3. It's not rebellious at all. He forgets you can have multiple people in a room and therefore everyone can bring their own drinks.
  4. They will be selling them when you board all over the place. You both will have to have it added.
  5. Go re-read the post I quoted, it will help you with the "rules".
  6. Have never seen them stop someone from carrying on more than one pack of soda or water. I would suspect bring what you want.
  7. You can bring more than 1 12 pack in most ports, as they don't really check. Protein shakes would be no issue either. They are mostly only looking for alcohol items when they do look to see what you are carrying. I should add I don't think you can bring them in glass containers, seems I read somewhere about glass, but bottles or cans are no issue.
  8. We put our soda in a carry on hardcase luggage and kept it with us. For the water, I bought 2 12 packs (figured that was easier to carry), and put them in a fabric grocery sack they fit nicely into, and put them on top of my carry on, and secured them to the carry on handle and just wheeled it all as one unit. I did not give it to the porter. People have said they put luggage tags on them, but to me it was just as easy to carry it. To put it through the security scanner, I just lifted it off the handle, and then put it back on.
  9. If you drink "enough", it's worth it. You decide what is enough. Someone posted the other day they can go to a hotel bar and spend $300 a night, so the package makes sense for them, bit you need to do the math that makes sense to you and decide. We don't get packages ourselves because the value to us isn't there. Only you can decide for yourself. Some get the package just for the convenience of not dealing with individual purchases.
  10. There a fairly limited number of topics when narrowed to cruising on a single line anyway.
  11. That is basically every cruise I've been on. I find maybe 4-5 thing's in a week that have enough seasoning. It's bland on purpose.
  12. You can let them know about your anniversary and they will put a sign on your door and they have special desserts, but not sure of anything else.
  13. Yep, we have those and non surge power strips with both USB and power. Works great when you can get to the plug.
  14. From what I have read online, it hasn't impacted package buyers to any real degree on Celebrity, so give it a little time, and I suspect it's coming to Carnival's brands.
  15. I forget, do the newer ships like Sky have the outlets behind the bed? I know the Royal and Regal do, and I think the Ruby class, but can't remember about the newer ones. In that case, I do the same, and bring a non surge with USB and power and can just set it on the nightstand without having anything strung across the room making a trip hazard.
  16. Is this posted on the stores that they aren't giving out bags and bring your own? This seems so odd to me that they are doing this.
  17. I'm sure Carnival will. Also, Celebrity recently changed their AI package to not include gratuity. I'm sure that is coming soon too to Princess and other Carnival brands.
  18. I think people use that for "Dear Husband" or DW for "Dear Wife". Also DD for Daughter and DS for son. I guess it's just a way to abbreviate the person you are referring to.
