  1. I think people use that for "Dear Husband" or DW for "Dear Wife". Also DD for Daughter and DS for son. I guess it's just a way to abbreviate the person you are referring to.
  2. The difference now is whether you paid to have the medallion ship or not. Blue lane picks up at the port. Now, could be different outside the US, not experienced that myself.
  3. The blue lane, green lane thing doesn't matter if you have everything completed. No one will pay attention or care.
  4. The coffee in the buffet is free for everyone. Well, not free, but included in your cruise fare. They stopped trading out mini bar setup for coffee packages back in the spring. Trust me, I've complained about it because it was a huge benefit cut to elite's who enjoyed the trade. If that is what you mean, it has nothing to do with packages of any kind, it's just the coffee in the buffet.
  5. I've never been on a ship that didn't have bags to put merchandise in to carry back to my stateroom. You are saying that none of the shops onboard the ship had bags to put purchased items in?
  6. Hmm. I wasn't planning to stop at the store on the way to the port, but I might have to. I hope Sky in December has coke zero. I might be mad if they don't.
  7. Yes, I'm well aware of this benefit cut and even though it's only impacted me on one cruise, I'm still not happy about it.
  8. This is one of the reasons I avoid balcony cabins. The smell of smoke can ruin the balcony experience.
  9. You will be provided instructions on where and when to go between cruises to wait. Usually only takes an hour at most. There will be a waiting area setup for you either on or off the ship in the port area.
  10. You seem to be suggesting you can trade mini bar in for the zero alcohol package. That isn't true unless something has changed recently.
  11. See if they will give you obc for the $6k and you can have a couple of meals at murano and Tuscan grill.
  12. Does this mean if there is excursion credit it can't be used for other things you might us obc for? I ask because with some cruiselines we get excursion obc, but can use that for anything, not just excursions.
  13. They got rid of the coffee packages over a year ago last I knew. No longer offering it as a mini bar swap item as in years past. If it's back, then great!
  14. Can I ask which lines? We don't care about casino's or shows. We want a pool, place to eat and comfy bed.
  15. Yes, all you want, no restrictions listed. We took 3 12 packs on Equinox 2 weeks ago along with bottled water. No issue at all. You can take at embarkation and ports.
  16. But as someone else mentioned, you can bring on at any ports, so less to carry if you want to do that. I also had one of those grocery store wide bags and it held the 12 packs of water perfectly and I had a strap to hold it to my luggage handle so I only needed one hand to maneuver it around. Was fairly easy to get to the room.
  17. And on regal earlier this year was able to exchange minibar for coke zero and sprite zero. Have they stopped having those on Princess?
  18. They will let you bring on more if you want. Never seen them stop anyone. Last cruise I had 3 12 packs and 2 12 packs of water. Put in carry on and took myself. You could try checked bag, but better seal it up well in case.
  19. Because of how princess does it, if you do want a sanctuary spot, go as early as possible to give you the best opportunity.
  20. Welcome to the new world of cruising. I'm waiting for Princess to increase package pricing soon. That will be a fun time on here.
  21. Why are people hung up on boarding times. I've never had them check. Go when you are ready. At least that is my experience.
  22. You can always book the room you want and watch prices and if they go down adjust. If you find a room you want, book it and then watch
  23. Yes it is, and that is why it's setup that way.
