Just boarded Azamara Journey in Barcelona which was very efficient even without docs an tags. Luggage was tagged upon arrival and whole process took less then 15 minutes. We are in a Club Continent Cub Suite this cruise. Ship looks great, cheerful crew and we are looking forward to night’s fresh seafood buffet extravaganza. One change was there was no muster drill brief upon embarking. We are to report to Discoveries for a Muster Drill at 5:00. We have been told there are only 500 guest on board. Barcelona was really bustling with the Spanish Gran Prix weekend a a couple of large concerts. Looking forward to our Spain Intensive followed by a France Intensive. Ahoy! Life is good.🛳🍾

Good morning. Our flight across the pond was fine. Long lines clearing customs and a long wait for luggage which finally appeared. Our room was ready at the Cotton House and we just woke from a two hour nap. It’s a beautiful day in Barcelona. Tapas later then hope we can sleep through the night. Thanks for the reports. Bruce

Slight change in plans for tonight. Dear friends called and cancelled tonight’s dinner as the wife has come down with a horrible cold. We really appreciate them letting us know as being exposed to someone with that bad a cold is not the way to start a trip of any kind. So it will be dinner out. Dinner at friends tonight and airplanes and airports tomorrow as we head too Barcelona for our June 3 embarkation on the Azamara Journey. Good morning. Other than toiletries and meds I’m packed and in the can we go now mode! C’mon Thursday. House cleaners will be here soon. I believe tonight will either be dine out or pizza delivery. Wednesday night dear friends have invited us to dinner so we are pretty well covered. Currently 65 but another beautiful day will bring temperatures to mid eighties. Weather has been gorgeous. Good morning! A busy day with final laundry, a trip to pharmacy, yard work and more packing. On top of that I slept in so behind already. Yesterday’s ribs turned out great as well as the homemade baked beans, slaw and pineapple crisp. Fell off the I’m on a diet wagon. So it’s finish the coffee and let’s get it done. Thanks Rich for the report and a heartfelt thank you to those who gave all.

Good morning. It’s currently 58 degrees but will rise to eighties. I have been told I’m cooking ribs today as Sue has invited our neighbors over for dinner. I applied dry rub to ribs yesterday and will spend a lot of time today tending the grill. I need to start getting ready for church. Thanks for the reports and may all of you have a great day. Bruce

Good morning. Last night was like one of my yesterday MeMe’s. Tossing and turning and then at 5 AM I was out in deep sleep. We have been to todays port of call and will have to check if we are returning there next year. Weight loss has continued but won’t last long when all those delicious tapas and wine are being sampled. Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend but take time to reflect.
