  1. LOL....boxed cereal is no more....just bulk dispensers. Maybe you can get a banana.
  2. This should still be the current menu...... https://www.carnival.com/-/media/images/explore/dining/menus/room-service-all-day-menu.pdf
  3. Nothing is included other than continental breakfast. If you want anything outside of that limited menu and time frame it comes with a cost.
  4. The point is you are overanalyzing it. Cruises are priced at brochure rates, anything off that is a 'sale'.
  5. It is the same marketing tactics the entire industry uses. Cruises fluctuate in price so often there is no point in trying to analyze anything. If the price is acceptable for what you are getting then book it.
  6. If you are saying to did a chargeback on a credit card dispute then you are likely done. They don't have to allow you to be a customer.
  7. If everyone does YTD and the reservations are linked you will have the opportunity to select who is dining with you when you check-in. Obviously you won't be able to check-in all 25 but it could be split up with just 3 or 4 people checking in the entire group.
  8. It is a higher deck....many will certainly consider that an upgrade.
  9. You are worrying about nothing. It will be assigned before you board the ship. In the rare event you do not have luggage tags they will be provided by the porters who have the cabin list.
  10. There is no set answer. All options are on the table.
  11. This is the lot that is pretty much across the street. https://jaxportparking.com/
  12. Wow....they are serving butter again.....how high class of them.🙄
  13. I wouldn't worry about it but you need to know you are planning for everything to go as planned. There is always a chance something will delay debarking. We arrived in Miami one morning and had a 12:30 flight out of FLL. The ship ended up with some sort of inspection that delayed getting off by an hour, then we hit construction traffic and finally the airport security was a mess. We didn't actually get to the gate until 12. It is rare but it does happen.
  14. We were also on the Seaside last month and saw that time and time again.
  15. People make too much out of this. Company A pays an employee $2k salary. They charge a service fee that goes towards that cost. Company B pays an employee $1k salary. They can make another $1k from the tip pool. Same thing at the end of the day.
  16. Nope.....Heineken it is.
  17. My advice is put 20 pieces in the 20 piece bag to avoid self created drama.
  18. I agree. We were on the Seaside 2 weeks ago and I was really looking forward to the pasta dishes. It was supposed to be one of the things that would make up for some other places where MSC struggles with food. It was an absolute disappointment every time we tried it.
  19. Never forget.....everyone is a big tipper on the internet.
  20. No and yes....you can see the account on the TV or the MSC app.
  21. .....because it isn't an option. Only Aurea cabins have that perk.
  22. We were on that sailing also. We are also at 20 cruises and it was our first on MSC. We are still debating if MSC is right for us going forward and truthfully it is only the price that has stopped us from writing it off. For everything they did right there was always something that came along to knock it back down. Our issues seemed to mainly center around food. We had the 5:15 seating for dinner. I had forgot how much I hated assigned dining until we were thrust into it again. On top of that our service was painfully slow, it ran 2 hours every time we were there. On several days we ended up with a late lunch and were simply not hungry at our assigned time. So that sent us to the buffet where the real disappointment started. There was simply no creativity and it was the same thing all week. You could guarantee the meat selections; thin sliced beef steak, pork chop and a fish filet, would be cold and dry. The chicken may or may not be better. The sides were uninspiring and the highly touted pasta was presented as the simplest of simple. On every other cruise line we've been on you will find items on the dinner buffet that are on the menu that night in the MDR. Not MSC. It was a sea of bland and nothing stood out to anchor the meal and then when you got something you wanted there is a good chance it was cold and unappetizing. Other peculiar things were a couple of popular drinks. For example, I've drank margaritas and Bloody Mary's literally all over the world more times than I can count. These were 100% the worst version of either I've ever been served. But then other things like Mojitos were awesome. True Jekyll and Hyde.
