  1. How unfortunate that you didn’t notice that #1 tags were for the HOHO on the disembarkation paperwork they send to the room. I wish you good luck.
  2. Don’t look for self serve laundries you ever be on Celebrity…..
  3. Absolutely not you can go to your doctor or county health test site, or Select Walgreens or CVS, and there are probably other options, too.
  4. Yes it does, in the case that you can order dinner from the MDR every night no matter which ship you are on.
  5. You can easily keep your door not disturb sign up all the time. Leave notes on the door asking for towels as needed. Forego having your sheets changed or your carpets vacuumed. perhaps the OP is a night owl who would rather sleep all day and be awake at night. Whatever. call Guest Relations and explain that you want to not be bothered and you will request service if you need it. just don’t do it to get out of leaving the stateroom attendant a gratuity. That would be beyond tacky.
  6. Where did you read about a pool? There are no plans for one as far as I have been told. Perhaps it was nothing but speculation…… in any case, right now Equinox has neither
  7. Every ship has this. Often it’s Tuscan but on e class ships could be another venue. Look on the info sheet they will leave in your stateroom for specifics.
  8. I was able to reprice three cruise to single rates and saved a bundle.
  9. Some find them hard to open. I tap the bottle against a table and it loosens right up.
  10. There is no way to set up notifications. Watch here starting in October and see how the new deployments get released.
  11. Airport transfer isn’t classified as an excursion. Purchase it at Guest Relations once on board. as noted there are also excursions which end at the airport if you have a late flight
  12. Links here for list of cruises https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2860991-celebrity-sale-for-solo-cruisers-no-supplement-charge-for-selected-sailings/
  13. On an upcoming New England cruise, some (but not all) shorex descriptions start with World Wings. That phrase wasn’t there the last time I looked. Does anybody know what it means?
  14. You can do that for your peace of mind but it won’t work for getting on the ship because it is not a proctored test
  15. Long walk to the elevators and lots of noise and vibration in the mornings on port days are the major downsides
  16. Just after the purchase I talked to a hotel director who said that silversea operates so differently than Celebrity he didn’t see how the loyalty programs could ever be merged. And certainly there’s nothing so far.
  17. Where did you read that it may be taken out of service? For that matter, where did you read that it is old and tired. I don’t see how anyone could say that since it hasn’t even started cruising, with today being the first cruise.
  18. There is something about that wording which confuses people. It seems clear to me but from the number of times the question has been asked, it must be hard for some readers to understand.
  19. Royal counts it by days, Celebrity by minutes
  20. While they don’t serve matcha trey will make you a steamed milk and you can add your powder but they won’t be able to froth it for you.
  21. Try doing a mock booking on the Delta site and see how the seats are classified on your flights
  22. Holiday sailings operate differently than others. Not much you can do but follow the rep’s advice.
