I would hope no one lets loose and parties a little harder in the solarium, as I believe it is intended to be a quieter place. What in the world would someone do in a public pool area that is so extreme that it can't be done in front of children. Yikes. M

which floor of the casino is the smoking casino
cruisegirl1 replied to irish2005's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Casinos are on one floor per ship but may be on different floors on different ships. Oasis class ships have removed the Jazz club and put in a SMALL non smoking casino. M -
Enchantment rooms added with ship enlargement.

Thanks and thanks to Bob. His legacy lives on. I did a CC search with no usable results M -
The easiest way to see options is on the app. It will show what is offered in the various venues. Be aware that many of the wines listed are not available. Don't forget you may bring one bottle per adult in the cabin. There is no corkage, and you may bring the bottle or a glass anywhere. Glass prices start at about $10. M

Any idea if there will still be a DJ party pool at the current large pool? If so, then two DJ pool parties, one free, and one $$? M -
New to Diamond - 4 Free Drinks in Coco Cay?
cruisegirl1 replied to surfjock27's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Y'all are lucky. Seems our allotment gets charged for every drink on Coco Cay (as it should be). I tend to drink more on Coco Cay than on the ship. M -
And speculation likely caused lots if hits, the desired result. This blogger is NOT affiliated with RCCL and has no more info that anyone here. I always wonder if he actually paid for the items he reviews (drink packages, over the water cabanas, water park, specialty dining, etc.) or if he receives them free of charge from RCCL. He never discloses if he pays or does not. M

Terminal one has two small benches by the door that seat about 12 people. There are a handful of benches where folks wait for ride share, There is a restaurant close by to the terminal. Perhaps you could have breakfast at that restaurant while you are waiting to get into the terminal. Terminal five has no place to sit outside the terminal. m

Coco Beach Club Full-Day Pass Now Called Pass A ??
cruisegirl1 replied to teddie's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I noticed that yesterday when I was looking at beach club prices for some upcoming cruises. m ps-not considering going to the beach club, was more interested in seeing how much they were asking for various cruises. $235.99 per person for a cruise in late January 2024. Almost $500 just to spend a few hours at the beach club! m -
Reciprocal status Royal vs Celebrity
cruisegirl1 replied to bigeagle12's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Your diamond status on royal Caribbean allows you elite status on Celebrity. You would be eligible for all of the elite benefits. Elite benefits, and diamond benefits are not the same. m -

Drinks now $15- does package cover $15 drinks?
cruisegirl1 replied to elizabethbp's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If all drinks go to $15, then the drink package will be changed. If only some drinks go to $15 (some drinks in the Bamboo Room, and some wines) then you’ll have to pay extra for those over $14. -
Lunch at Beach club at Perfect Day
cruisegirl1 replied to motheroftwocats814's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Price varies. For one of my upcoming cruises in October (we are the only ship at Coco cay that day) it is $159.99. Cruise in early December it is $188.99. For my late January cruise January 2024 it is $235.99 per person. It includes a nice lunch, private pool, loungers. Drinks are extra. M -
FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH Buffet - no reservations needed It is a small version of windjammer. many of the same food items. When it was first introduced, it had healthier options, but has morphed into a small windjammer. FOR DINNER - The menu on the app is basically accurate. Reservations suggested. The only ship I recall menu and servers was years ago on Oasis. Tapas/salad buffet style and also table service. Harmony, Symphony and Wonder have the same type of menu items, but they are all self-serve. I see from above post that on Oasis it is apparently all buffet as well. The items, including the appetizers are mediterranean inspired lamb, fish and chicken. M

Check-In Time for Second Leg of B2B
cruisegirl1 replied to handbellplayer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I always check in for every back to back. (Or B3B) cruise. Otherwise, how would they know how to charge your sea pass expenses? Regarding the times, I always choose the late time-slot, as it is not relevant, and I leave the earlier slots open for people who are actually trying to get on the ship. m -
Diamond drinks on first night
cruisegirl1 replied to Liberty 55's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Way too many diamond, diamond plus, and Pinnacle these days to set aside that diamond up area for breakfast. On a recent jewel of the seas cruise we had 1100 diamond, diamond plus and Pinnacle out of 2300 passengers. Almost half the ship. m -
Diamond drinks on first night

Enjoy your new benefits. I just came off a cruise on Jewel, and the lounge coffee machine made some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. As good as (sometimes better) than the coffee shop. m -
B2B Christmas and New Year's Eve

We’ve done New Year’s Eve and/or Christmas cruises 8 times and every one had an upgraded MDR holiday menu on the special nights. HAVE FUN. M -
Agree about the duo in centrum. They were terrific. m

Wow - that was interesting! People come up with the most unusual ideas. Seriously, didn't mind reading it, even though it was 3 years old. M

Are the connecting cabins noisey?
cruisegirl1 replied to SAS21's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We've been assigned connecting cabins when booking a GTY cabin. These days connecting are often more money than non-connecting, so if I am selecting a cabin, I would never pay more for a connecting cabin unless I needed one. I've never been bothered by any noise from the other side of the wall. M -
Quick video about Wonderland on the Symphony
cruisegirl1 replied to misguy's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Thanks for your video. We stayed away from Wonderland for years, but went recently on Wonder because we had the dining package. Some people enjoy it, but we did not. We are adventurous when it comes to dining, but we felt like the food was just too gimmicky. Not even a fan of the world dessert. We had been served one previously at an event, but between the chocolate and sauce, it was simply too sweet. i’m glad we went to try it out, but I doubt I will be back. I don’t think it mattered, but there was no mad hatter at the restaurant. I would also find that gimmicky, but it might be fun for kids. Some people rave about the restaurant, and that is terrific. One thing about cruising, there seems to always be something for everyone. m- 1 reply
