  1. No. Drinks cut off around 5am every day. No more drinks on disembarkation morning. m
  2. If I spent $20,000 or more for a week-long trip for 2, the last place I'd be was on a mass market cruise ship. M
  3. I've done 3/4 night B2B cruises but am not a fan and avoid it if I can. You lose half a day on turnaround. Yes that is the same for a B2B, but if I am on a 7N/7N or 8N/6N etc. the loss of half a day is not bad. I am not a fan of the 3 day crowd. Whatever you decide, have fun. M
  4. Usually after the initial rush, they will let you check in early. Go to the port as your schedule permits. Entertainment reservations are not need for Independance of the Seas. Windjammer thins out at 1PM or after the cabins open so if you get on board on time to eat, you should have fewer crowds. Sorry you won't get your chaotic lunch but the next day on the pool deck should make up for it.🙂 If you buy a single devise internet package, just log off and let the next person log in on their devise. You can share, but just one person can log in at a time. Lask of passport should not case a delay in boarding, but may case a delay in the customs process as you disembark on the last day. There are several super fast lines face recognition for those with passports and another slower process for those will birth certificates. My last cruise on Independance was in November and that was the old menu. I trust there will be lots of good choices for you. Deck 2 will be convenient when you return for port. As for the bowels of the ship - No difference in that hallway from a hallway on a higher deck. Enjoy the ship, the entertainment and your return to sailing.
  5. One bottle per person over the age of 21. m.
  6. Have a great time. We just returned from 2 weeks on Wonder and had the dining package the second week. We concentrated on entertainment the first week and went back to shows we really liked on the second week. Ship is beautiful and the staff/crew are wonderful. Have fun. Looking forward to your remarks. M
  7. Agree - There could also be a longer turn around discouraging passengers from using the service. It was a two day return last 2 weeks, but one day return on the Jewel in both December and January. A longer return doesn't help as much as if the laundry takes say 3 days, I'll need more clothes while the laundry is out. M
  8. The complementary bag of Wash & Fold laundry for Royal starts at D+. Celebrity Elite ( the equivalent to D) get a complimentary bag. The benefits are not exactly the same on both lines. The complementary Wash and Fold for D+ is still in place and has not change. Of course there is current discussion if it is any day ( my experience in the past 2 sailings on Wonder) or a specific day. Time will tell. M
  9. Last week and the one prior there was no issue. We are sailing again in two weeks and I'll expect to send laundry. I'll try to report back. M
  10. Wonder did a balloon drop last week on the first evening. It was listed in the app. When we left the ship this past Sunday, the balloons for that night's drop were already in place. M
  11. Shows book up fast but as previously mentioned there is a wait line that is usually seated and there are some slots once you get on board. You can be directed to a box office desk. Lots of people reserve a show and then don't go. Last week we were headed to bed and walked past the "sold out" comedy show. We could not get tickets for all week. We went to the door, and were allowed in without any reservation. The place was less than 1/2 full. (This was an 11:30 show). It is my understanding the pre cruise booking is to give everyone a fair chance at show reservations not just those who get to the ship early. I checked the website every day from about 6 weeks prior to the cruise to see if entertainment opened. It opened about 5 weeks prior. Good luck. M
  12. Free photo is still offered but listed on the letter you received once on board. Slot free play is not new. It was always listed in the letter as well. M
  13. Sorry - should have done a laundry multi quote. We just returned Sunday from B2B cruises, and the complimentary wash and fold was available ANY DAY. I hope it stays that way. We sent it different days each week with no issues. M
  14. Recent changes. No more cookies on boarding day. Those cookies were a welcome back benefit that has been eliminated. Recently, we've received Petit Fours mid week as the Chef's choice. M
  15. Free laundry was any day on our recent Wonder B2B cruise ( just returned home Sunday) . We sent out two each week, on different days. No problem at all. Have you had a different experience? m
  16. Pickle Ball shares the court (obviously not at the same time🙂) with other games (Basketball/dodgeball) so check the compass or app for the pickle ball specific times. Have fun m
  17. You will not need testing for Haiti. Sad that your travel agent sent you incorrect information. I would question the source of the info the agent sent and/or get another travel agent. I hope your future info is accurate. M
  18. Forgot to mention, I believe Celebrity extends status benefits to everyone in the cabin. That is a nice benefit when traveling with others. M
  19. You will need to muster for every cruise, regardless if it is a B2B. M
  20. Everyone has to muster. We've done dozens of B2B (B3B, B4B S2S) and have had to muster on EVERY SINGLE ONE. It is a coast guard requirement. Prior to e-muster, the announcement even mentioned that you need to go the muster drill even if you have cruised with Royal Caribbean in the past. M
  21. Adult siblings are not status matched. Simply living in the same household as a relative is not a reason for a match. They must have assumed you were (or you presented yourselves as) a single gender couple. M
  22. The pool at coco cay. 😄😄😄😄😄 m
  23. Juices is available at breakfast and milk is available at all meals m
  24. That first Celebrity cruise with Elite status was terrific. The benefits are different on the 2 lines, but both a good. Amazing to walk on a ship and have immediate loyalty status. The Elite continental breakfast (do they still do that/) included limited alcohol and back then we had access to Michael's Club. I think it is restricted to high end suites now. We do Aqua class and enjoy Blu. We find to so much better than CK. And, I don't know why, but on that first Celebrity cruise, we were asked to have dinner with the captain! What a great time. We've enjoyed every Celebrity cruise we've taken and know there are more in the future. So, for the Celebrity devotees - have you cruised with Perry Grant? He is hilarious! For a while we seemed to be on his schedule and caught his act on several cruises. M
  25. Don't know about long periods, we've never done longer than 4 cruises in a row. All were treated as single cruises and there were no additional perks. We did get a lunch between cruises offered to those on a B2B cruise. On one, we were given a bottle of sparkling wine. By the time we did these cruises we already had some internet/laundry/dining/beverage discounts or perks because of C&A loyalty. Didn't ask for anything. M
