How do people afford $20,000 suites?
reallyitsmema replied to Sigyn's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Our posts are gone but the picture remains. 😇 -
Pretty sure that is not the type of sofabed on Oasis, I think it folds down differently. Oasis does not have the trundle bed type sofabeds either. A rolled blanket under the bottom sheet can make a bumper and also putting the chair from the vanity with the back towards the sofabed will make a barrier too. Just talk to the cabin steward, they know all the tricks that will make a safe space for a little one.

I have never told anyone to move on. I have suggested that people scroll through a topic that they weren't interested in as I have done many times in this thread. Move along, nothing to see here is from Men and Black and a similar line was used in The Naked Gun and parodied in South Park and many, many memes. It is a joke, plain and simple.

Shouldn't my Set Sail Pass have SUITE on it?

I don't usually talk C&A status but I will confirm, we are not pinnacle. 😱😇 The entire set sail pass is the appropriate color for our C&A level. 😁 -

Our passes don't have a color banner, the whole pass has the color like before. Might be different by ship class. We are on Oasis. -

I logged out and back in and now the app won't show me my set sail pass. 😞 The set sail pass in my apple wallet updated automatically though and shows sky class, which it didn't before. The "RR" for refreshment package has moved to a packages section that wasn't there before. -
Reservations for MTD can become available pretty much at anytime, so keep checking. Muster is through the app, you can watch the videos on your phone while you are waiting to board and then just stop at your muster station once you are on the ship and check in. Sea pass cards are outside your door, you can get it once cabins are available. You can use any drink package you have prior to getting your sea pass card, they will either scan your set sail pass or just ask your cabin number. App works with your phone in airplane mode, just connect to royal wifi. Tendering seems to differ by ship, some do tickets, some say line up. You will find out on the ship. If you have any C&A status (diamond or up), you can usually get tickets from the concierge in the diamond lounge.

How do people afford $20,000 suites?
reallyitsmema replied to Sigyn's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I agree, squishing 14 into some of these larger suites is not something we would ever do. Someone said they had 8 in the 4 bedroom suite that sleeps 14, that would be my max. They were a parents, kids and grandkids group that 4 bedrooms would have no one on the sleep sofa. We have had a 2 bedroom GS, which is supposed to sleep 8, for just the 2 of us, and I wouldn't have done that cabin with more than 4. Having people sleep on the sleep sofa in the only common space makes no sense. If I can't sleep and want to sit on the couch and read, that option is gone if you have people out in the living room too. -
You are not going to see the numbers below the barcode in the app, you need to save the set sail pass to your apple wallet and look at the barcode there if you are an iphone user. If you have an android, you need to use a barcode. The last digits will be the cabin number, if it isn't assigned yet, it will show GTY.

Young children, do they get room keys?
reallyitsmema replied to Eddie Wilson's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Every passenger on the ship gets a sea pass card. -
Priority Embarkation for Diamond Members?

Where is the waiting area for the suites and pinnacles currently? In the past, it has been all the way to the right at the base of the escalator and all the way to the left near the restrooms. -

You are assuming that those posting on this thread are telling the truth. Some on this thread can't even keep their stories straight because they change so often. -
Working fine for us. I would clear your cookies and try again and/or try a different browser.

We are on Oasis in May and our setsail pass does not say Sky on it. The one we saved to our Apple wallet doesn't have either expedited arrival, sky or our C&A level. I just went on the website and printed our setsail passes and they have our C&A number but not expedited arrival as they used to when sailing in a suite and not sky either. We will have a copy of our invoice with us to show we are in a suite so we can get in the right area of the terminal.

Is 205 people considered a large group?
reallyitsmema replied to mafig's topic in Royal Caribbean International
The group on the Oasis was 100ish, I think. The group on Jewel was smaller but more visible as it was young adults that were around the ship more or we just saw them more because of the size of the ship. They tended to use the elevator lobby as a meeting place and all wore the same color tshirt, so we knew what group they were with. Every time we saw them, they were having a blast! -

reallyitsmema replied to mafig's topic in Royal Caribbean International
It can depend on the group. We have been on many cruises that has had an Autism on the Seas group on it. There group will have a section of the WJ just to themselves. Not sure if the private dining area is still there in the back of the WJ, if it is, that is where they were. On Oasis, there was a large area roped off for them and there was actually a loud argument one morning when someone wanted the ropes down so they could sit in that area.😱 They also have a reserved area in the theater but it is just to keep their group together. I have never thought it was a big deal, that whole program is wonderful! We have also had cruises were a small lounge will be taken each night for a private function.
