  1. So is holding a bottle of wine I brought on board in the MDR so I can have a glass with dinner still a thing?
  2. Great all the more reason to just leave it in the MDR.
  3. Cannot drink red wine except for sangria. Never developed a taste for it.
  4. Thanks. I don’t think I can drink 2 bottles of wine on day 1. I had planned to take a glass with me every night for dinner. Maybe I should just bring the bottle and let them store it? The corkage fee , if charged, won’t break the bank 🤷‍♀️
  5. And just empty the water & refill? How many times a day would that need to be done? Doesn’t seem very efficient.
  6. We will be on Explorer. Will I not be able to keep my wine cold?
  7. So included in the soda package at any bar.
  8. Most bar sodas come out of a nozzle. That would/should include some type of carbonated water or seltzer. Can anyone confirm this? I drink a lot of seltzer & hope I don’t have to go running to a freestyle machine every time I want some.
  9. But that was a special case. They did that on very early cruises and Wonder’s inaugural. You won’t find that at WJ on any standard sailing.
  10. 🤷‍♀️Save a tail from Lobster night & bring it the next morning??🤷‍♀️
  11. Son & hubby had mashed potatoes with whatever the stew of the day was ladled over. It was their staple lunch!
  12. If I’m with family, I probably want to spend more time than just dinner with them. That’s the whole point of vacationing TOGETHER. 🤷‍♀️
  13. We had an OS on Harmony for me hubby, adult daughter & adult son. She’s older & was supposed to get the sofa bed but he’s taller & conned is sister into taking the rollaway. He is a charmer! It was plenty of room and not the least uncomfortable. We’ve never gotten a separate room for the kids, actually never occurred to us as they were growing up. She slept with me & poor son got stuck with dad! On our next family cruise, my nephew needs a roomie so the 3 of them are booked in a balcony but daughter will actually stay in our JS with us.
  14. I didn’t know there was a a pinnacle Envoy?!? Where are they located?😄😄
  15. Yes, my brother & I are each booked in JSs. We dumped the adult offspring in a nearby balcony room.
  16. There are suites that accommodate separate sleeping spaces but they are pretty pricey. Only you know your budget/expectations and feelings about your in laws 😁. I would suggest looking at separate cabins in proximity to each other. My brother and I are extremely close but we are still getting our own cabins. BTW that particular poster is often rude. You can, as I have, block his posts from your profile page.
  17. But if you just google Royal Caribbean Blog, you get Matt’s website not RC’s. Full disclosure I am a follower of his blog.
  18. And also no need to freak out. That is not the norm.
  19. Does that mean EVERY boarding will be a cluster-fluck?
  20. Or you could call & request the DBP for your friend & the refreshment package for you.
  21. Buy one get one 50% off (of the full price) is the same as 25% off each. A $100 package would then be $75 each using round numbers. This is pretty much in line with what I am seeing in the CP. it also says “price reflects discount”. So it’s not fuzzy math, it’s not deceptive. It’s says exactly what it means. Caveat Emptor! We have to read!!
  22. I linked our 3 reservations where I log in for the cruise planner so that’s the website. All three show up when I open the app.
  23. I would think it would be less expensive to just pay OOP for drinks over and above your 5 free D+ drinks.
