I understand your frustration but if it were me (and I would NEVER have allowed my child to do that) I would have taken strong exception to you taking something out of my child’s hands. I think perhaps you know you should have asked the parents to intervene and then escalated to MDR staff if necessary. You don’t know anything about the child. Perhaps they had some type of behavioral challenge.

3 IPhones and an Android step onto a ship. Suite status gives them all access to Voom. WiFi calling set up in advance, all phones in airplane mode and WiFi calling turned on. We were all able to text each other as normal. Did not have to download WhatsApp to contact android son.

Boarding day in March, the hot tub on the suite deck was deserted. My son enjoyed it empty and clean.

It does, thank you. I am at the stage of life where I am purging pictures not taking more! I have 2 large Rubbermaid tubs of family photos no one wants. I can’t bring myself to throw them out so I told the kids that’s their job when I die!! For cruises, I limit myself to the boarding photo so I know who went, on which ship & when. I do have a great shot of my grandson doing the Superman pose on the flow rider! Oh it doesn’t help that I look like an old woman 👵🏻 (who IS that old crow!!!) in pictures so avoid them like the plague!😁

Truly just curious but besides boarding & formal night, where else would you take them?

Everyone is different and I get that I am not a picture person but can you really have 100 pictures taken during a cruise?? I do remember on our last cruise, a woman with a beautiful little girl. She must have changed the little girl’s outfits 10 times a day and had multiple photos in each. She probably had 100 before sail away!

There were 2 lines in March 🤷‍♀️.

We had the same table and waitstaff every night and did not share a table with anyone else. By night 3, we didn’t even get in line. They just waved us in.

I can’t see the picture they take so I don’t care!

Takes all of 20 seconds to just let them do it at the terminal.
