  1. Until the itineraries embarking on the 01OCT 23, each cabin, except top suites, had 1 WIFI account per stateroom, not 2 device. It did mean that only one person in a cabin could be online at a time so you needed to log off from one device to allow the other person/device to access the WIFI. So if you have both an IPhone and IPad, you could only be on one at a time but you could log off one and log on to another, As of the 01OCT 23, each cabin has 2 WIFI accounts so you can have 2 people/ 2 device on at the same time now. I have close friends that were on the same ATW cruise with you and had a different perspective of their experience. I forwarded your post to them and asked their reaction. They were in an obstructed ocean view so did not have any statues due to cabin category. They are booked on the 2024 ATW since they so enjoyed their previous ATW experiences. I am sorry that it did live up to your expectations.
  2. You are discussing 2 different things - your choice of 1 perk under OLife (so many free shore excursions, select drink package or OBC) and receiving. discount (25%) off shore excursions pricing if you book a certain number of excursions, We have done this several times before under OLife - taken the beverage package as our perk and then booked (and paid for) the minimum number of shore excursions and received 25% off the cost of all excursions when we reached/exceeded the minimum required. Hope this helps/clarifies how this works...
  3. Under OLife, you will still receive the 25% discount after purchasing the requisite number of excursions. OLife has the same program so you will be able to take advantage of that
  4. I don't think so , it is tight to the wall but not in our room right now to check

    VISTA

Hi Lyn - I think the big lineup at the GDR the last few nights might have been because of the O Loyalty parties and everyone rushed to the GDR from there.....all dressed up and so decided to go to the GRD instead of Terrace
  6. The TVs do not move or turn....you can sit on the couch and watch the TV from the side....I can't answer your question about the speakers
  7. You will have chocolates on your pillow every night and there are pretzels, potato chips and nuts in the bars that you could take a bowl of to your room for snacking later...
  8. Vista is same as O ships - laundry on each cabin deck ...free to use and detergent provided free of charge
  9. We have brought hard liquor onboard many times and, in fact, brought hard liquor onboard this Vista cruise at embarkation and at a port... I am sorry you received bad information.
  10. I am currently on Vista and it works!!! You go to the channel guide, choose your channel, press "OK" to watch channel in full screen and then press "diamond" button to the left of the "0" button and it will show CC enabled" . This works on all channels....
  11. Red Ginger indeed does have a whole bank of windows down one side of the restaurant, the same as Embers on the same floor opposite side. Polo and Toscana are on a high floor and at the back of the ship so have windows down the side of the restaurant and around the back.. Red Ginger on Marina and Riviera also have windows but they are covered with black curtains so never knew there were windows.
  12. we are currently on Vista and no white cloths on the floor at turn down so for those that disliked them - your voices have been heard
  13. On Vista and it took 2 days - turned in on Tuesday AM and was on our bed o Thursday AM....so timing can vary depending upon length of cruise and number of people turning in laundry the same time you do...plan on 3 days and be pleasantly surprised if it shows up sooner
  14. Concierge level cabins and above have 3 free bags (20 items per bag) for each sailing. It is wash and fold only and up to a 3 day turn around.....
  15. We are currently onboard Vista and were unable to connect via bluetooth to the TV. We have heard nothing from the cabins either side of us...
  16. Was this for an Oceania cruise? There was a bit of an excitement when someone did not read the email they received from O on the upcoming Vista Panama Canal cruises. The email was noting that there was a change to arrival in a port or two and since the day we will be transiting the canal was listed as a "sea day", she automatically jumped to the conclusion that the canal transit had been canceled. But, as people pointed out, unless O is going to pick the ship up and lift over the isthmus Vista is transiting the canal to be on the Pacific for a port and on the Atlantic for a port 2 days later.. The itinerary on the website specifically shows our canal transit as usual,
  17. On the 24 ATW, the luggage is picked up and delivered back to your residence. There are transfers from the airport to the pre cruise hotel and then from the pre-cruise hotel to the ship. On the return, there are transfer from the ship to the airport. This is for those taking the free first class air from Oceania offered for ATW
  18. We are currently on Vista and some fellow passengers are wearing mask and all the crew....no odd looks from anyone. Also, at least so far, very little coughing being seen or herd...
  19. Yes - they still have happy hour in the early evening in Martinis and Horizon and late night in Horizon - just enjoyed the HH drinks and live music in Horizons on Vista last night.
  20. Yes - the key cards were given to us when we checked in at the terminal (basically the same as always) and then were scanned when we walked onboard
  21. I just checked and it only for 36 cruises over 2023 and 2024 so not many itineraries/sailings.....same as offering "Ultimate OLife" for cruises not selling well...
  22. Interesting, as we commented that our large suitcases fit under our bed without having to lift up like usual.....appears DH happen to find the right spot without the lowered railing or our bed has a different bed frame. We have 2 large and 1 carry on under our bed closed (in fact we have a carry on inside one of the large cases and a medium case inside the other.). apparently bed frames differ on Vista...will have to get down and look under there to see.
  23. Isn't this a "promotion/sale" offering so not fleet wide...with SM everyone has the select beverage package and $$$ shore excursion credit on the select cruises listed so this is adding onboard cash/credit that can be used for anything. It is basically like the "old OLife" ultimate sale where you received all 3 perks on select sailings. Another way to fill up slow selling itineraries/dates...
  24. As they say location, location, location - same as the WIFI but so far it has been amazing...
  25. We had just got up and could barely hear the announcement - went and opened door and could just hear Ray's voice
