  1. Well, Celebrity may not consider that to be an obstructed view, but I certainly would.
  2. I agree, Celebrity suite prices are absurd. I will certainly not pay 3X what I paid for a RS or the PH last year. If there are those who are willing to pay those prices, God bless them. I will not be among them.
  3. The MDR waiters all get shifts in the cafe. I've even seen the maitre d' from Luminae helping out on occasion.
  4. So sorry you have to miss Kotor. And that you missed Dubrovnik. Guess you will just have to do another cruise some day that goes to those places! Both fabulous.
  5. I believe they still get the reserved seating. They just don't get escorted there by their butler since they don't have one.
  6. I've taken the Mount Dalsnibba one and it was excellent. You take a bus to the top of the mountain where you get off and walk around as much or as little as you like to admire the view. Then bus back. That's pretty low-level activity in my view.
  7. That appeared to be a problem--I did not see a waffle iron in the background. If they have been made in the kitchen and brought to the buffet, they will not be too appetizing.
  8. That was one of the best desserts ever. Too bad that Celebrity seems to be giving up on excellence in food.

  10. I rarely order room service, so this response may be out of date. It is my understanding that one can order any items on the MDR menu for room service. Prior to the shutdown, I several times ordered a burger while in the PH. I don't believe it was on the regular room service menu. Talk to your butler. With some advance notice, I'll bet that your butler can organize pretty much anything you want.
  11. Well, I guess I'll stick with my current Pro Max. Not up for that sort of aggravation. The only thing I'm coveting on the new one is the 5X optical zoom. But I'll muddle through.
  12. I had the same experience the last time I booked the PH. That was on the Summit. Nothing to move up to from the PH. Thought it was pretty funny. As for move up and PUP e-mails, I used to get them but then they mysteriously vanished. Still get all their marketing e-mails. So I just depend on Cruise Critic to alert me when something is going on. And, yes, I can access move up from my reservation. If there is something to move up to. 😁
  13. Once upon a time I ran out of memory on my iPhone. It wasn't pretty. Since then, I've gone with the max memory.

  15. Disappointing. So we get to pay for everyone else to drink but we don't get anything. Not impressed.
  16. On my last B2B in a RS, I told the Suite Concierge I was awash in pajamas and could I please have a robe instead on the second leg. I got a robe.
  17. Not much action there except for the woman who complains vigorously about my roll call list. She also complained about me on the site we can't mention here. I think people are afraid to post there in case she decides to go after them!
  18. Even if you could, which is doubtful, you have unlimited specialty dining with your suite. Why not go to the restaurant itself and enjoy being waited on with hot food? Stuff that comes to your cabin via room service is not going to be as hot as it would be in the restaurant.
