It might be worth checking that on the Fred Olsen board, they certainly used to have theme nights (I remember Red, White and Blue) and their website still mentions them.

What grade is your original booking?

I prefer the new system but I cruise rather than cross so by using data in port and sharing via Bluetooth on board we can make our allowances last for a 14 day cruise.

In that case I would make sure you know how to catch up with the ship if you need to !

I know it's going back a while but for the Christmas cruise on QM2 in 2009 we had passengers joining the ship at various islands on the itinerary as they had not been able to get to New York due to snow. @chryso how far are you flying? Are you booking your own flights?

Have you checked the Q4 cabin layout? They show a separate shower as well as bath.

I understand completely as that happened to us on a previous occasion shipping luggage to America! I was a little nervous this time as well but it worked perfectly and I would use them again if I was going on the train.

I was lucky to be offered a free trial of the Baggex service before our cruise on QM2 from Southampton in June. I was very impressed. Communication was very good, collection was on time, we were sent a photograph of our bags arriving at the terminal and they were in the cabin when we boarded. When we disembarked we handed them over in the terminal and they were delivered as agreed a couple of days later. If you have a complicated journey or are travelling alone I would definitely use them again. If you have any questions, just ask here or post on the special thread where they will answer

There are different coloured tags and separate times to leave but you don't leave your cabin and go to a waiting area, you disembark from your cabin.
