Yesterday’s brunch was nice, my GF and I split a Marco Polo and Elvis crepes. 😋 Bingo was fun but did not win. On the agenda today: Spa (I’m having my favorite the “Goddess of the Sun” ritual 💆🏻‍♀️), lunch with a local GF at a poke place (sorry cheeseburger day), and work before and after all this. Well, third time’s the charm: I’m in Las Vegas! The first time I had to cancel because of my eye surgery (I couldn’t go higher than 2k feet in elevation), the next time my BFF’s sister died and with the funeral and family coming in she couldn’t go. So this has been planned for some time. We have meals planed with friends, a show (comedian Henry Cho), bingo, spa days, shopping, and more restaurants. I’ll also be working a bit since I want to save vacation time. Thank you all for caring and sharing. Prayers for the Care List and Cheers for the Celebration List.

Good morning. Thank you for the HAL fleet report and all the daily information. DH got back last night from a fishing trip with his brother and wife to Texas and (mainly) Arkansas. 🐟🎣 Only one little mishap: his brother caught a tree or some brush, and when he jerked the line to get it free it came back at him and the barded hook got stuck in his neck! It took a little bit of doing but they were able to get it out. Otherwise it sounds like they had fun and good bro time. I had asked a couple times before DH left if he could go to the diamond park and pick me up a (uncut) diamond 💎 but he poo-pooed the idea. He should have went. I texted them the article but sis-in-law said the boys didn’t want to give up fishing time. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thank you all for caring and sharing. Prayers for everyone who needs them. 🙏 Cheers for all the celebrations. 🎉

Long day, just got home at 7:40pm. We had a potluck at work today, so last night I made Cowboy Caviar for my contribution. Left the house at 6am to go to the store for plates and forks (I had bought some football-themed things but got nervous that it wasn’t enough). The potluck was nice. After work I picked up my DMiL and we had pedicures. Then went out to dinner at a local Mexican restaurant. Dropped her off and now I’m home. I’ll have go back to read everything.
