  1. Totally agree. Not common enough in the USA though.
  2. Then you need to report back so that you can claim the trophy (although it might have an asterisk).
  3. What link are you using? When I did the online registration, it immediately then went to the webinar without the need for an email link. For example, this link should not require you to wait for an email after registering: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/7773038565482320992?allowMobile=y&ecid=em_12657145&rid=1260709149&mes=Celebrity Loyalty Edge Series Webinar PUP 10 May 2023 EM&emsc=CCC_ZEN_LUX_NAN_H_USA_CA_38_WEB&empf=Y&emct=Z&lnkid=REGISTER_NOW_CTA&rcid=134509239 2 days left to register and watch the webinar.....
  4. I agree with some earlier posts, for me I wouldn't book a domestic flight with a departure time any earlier than 11am out of FLL. People have booked flights with earlier departure times (9am is the most eye popping aggressive I've seen reported so far), but I personally couldn't do it because I don't want to be worrying about it during the whole cruise.
  5. Thank you for writing your live review, Fly and Sail. It was enjoyable to read. Glad you got home safe.
  6. Our family of four had lunch at the Porch aboard Reflection in Jan 2019. It was pretty good (we also had the seafood tower) although we were seated in an area that got very warm. I would recommend that you should at least try it.
  7. Back in 2005, we took the same Celebrity "Panama Canal Locks and Culebra Cust Cruise" tour when our ship, Horizon, docked at Colon. The tour was named something else at the time, but it is the same tour. Our motorcoach took us to the Pacific side where we boarded our ferry ride. We went through the Miraflores and Pedro Miguel locks. We sailed through the Cut and then got off the ferry somewhere around Gatun Lake. Come to think of it, I think it was at Gamboa--that's where our motorcoach buses were waiting for us to take us back to the ship. If you are a canal fanatic/nerd/geek, you will find the ferry ride of great interest. There were good views of the locks and its operation. Unlike a cruise ship, the walls of each lock towered over us. One of the advantages of being on a small ferry was that you could easily look behind you as well as ahead with a little bit of walking. Everyone that wanted to could touch the walls. The tour was well narrated. The only drawback is that the whole trip is fairly long and it can get pretty hot and humid while you are out on deck. So you will find the tour exhausting. Also, back then the box lunch that was served wasn't very good. Taking the shore excursion whetted my appetite for taking a cruise that does the full transit. I had to wait 19 years, but we will be on Summit's canal cruise this coming April. I have attached a few photos from our ferry ride which I hope you find useful.
  8. We have an aft We went ahead and booked a nice aft cabin on Celebrity's Summit for this coming April's canal cruise (Miami to Los Angeles). We were in the same aft cabin on Summit's sister, Constellation, during our transatlantic cruise last fall (photos). To me, maybe the only drawback with an aft balcony during an eastbound crossing such as yours is that your balcony may be exposed to the sun in the southern sky during the canal transit. If true, it is not necessarily a big drawback unless it is something that you do not want.
  9. We were in a family veranda cabin on Constellation this past Oct/ Nov and here are all the electrical plugs in the cabin. They were located over the desk. I'm sure Royal Suite el be different, but this gives you some idea of what to expect.
  10. Here is more information from Celebrity's website on all of the restaurants aboard Reflection including the 6 specialty restaurants: https://www.celebritycruises.com/cruise-ships/celebrity-reflection/eat-and-drink
  11. We have done 14 of our 15 Celebrity cruises as a family of 4 in one cabin (half of them were 10-15 nights) and we have gotten used to managing life around the single set of electrical outlets by the desk. We have our Euro adapters and USB splitters similar to what smtcan described to charge phones, laptops, handheld game consoles, battery packs, and even toothbrushes (M class did away with the outlet in the bathroom during one of the drydocks). My wife and I bring battery packs that we can use by our bed side to charge our phones while keeping it near us. It does mean that you have to bring more stuff with you which is a drawback especially for those that are good at packing light.
  12. Processing times have gotten longer since then. I sent mine in for renewal in Dec and got it back in Jan. I do like the new format of the Next Generation Passport.
  13. I would advise that you plan your trip through a good travel agent primarily because the TA will be able to offer more attractive incentives than booking directly with Celebrity. Usually they will rebate part of their commission back to you in the form of onboard credit, free specialty dining reservation, etc. I don't know if your group size is large enough to earn you further discounts, but if you do qualify, you will get it whether you book through a TA or Celebrity. Either way, good luck with the planning and the cruising.
  14. Celebrity's kids club does an excellent job with that age group. We took our kids, now fully grown, on many Celebrity Cruises and they always loved the children's program. The facilities and counselors were excellent.
  15. I like the laundry service that is listed as a Concierge Class service. Somehow AquaClass seems to exclusively get "plentiful storage space".
  16. Nice cruise and nice review. We have been on Infinity twice. Once during her inaugural year and then again 14 years later. I very much like the Millennium class ships.
  17. I agree, the only advantage I can think of is that you can select your seats for those airlines that don't allow you to select until you pay.
  18. Thank you for posting. We do not get enough of these kinds of reviews.
  19. I have only seen it personally pre-Revolution. It certainly is roomier than your average Sky Suite but the dark wood paneling (which I am sure is gone) coupled with the balcony door made the suite darker.
  20. You don't have to wait for an email, you can also initiate your own MoveUp through "Manage Reservation" as jelayne posted or you can go to this page on Celebrity's website: https://www.celebritycruises.com/bid-on-cruise-room-upgrade There are a nice set of FAQs at the bottom of the webpage.
  21. I thought the other drawback with 6145/6 was that they did not have a floor-to-ceiling glass sliding balcony door--instead it was a hinged heavy door with a large window. At least it was like that pre-Revolution and I am guessing that it wasn't changed.
  22. Nothing special about this "sale". Don't be surprised if it gets extended by popular demand or something like that. Or it will be repackaged as another sale with a different theme name. Usually at worst, they may drop the extra $50 OBC bonus just so they can bring it back again later. In the end, whatever Celebrity does, it gives them the self-created excuse to reset the FOMO countdown clock that is prominently displayed on their website.
  23. Your description was good. The reason I posted my earlier message was in reaction to you saying that you wouldn't book the Aqua Sky Suites again. So I thought it was something unique to the Aqua Sky Suites.
