I was also able to select flights on my mock booking for the cruise that I was having problems with. Not that this should have any bearing on the problem, did you book your cruise through Celebrity or through a TA?

We recently booked a Transpacific (not Tahitian Treasures) and a Panama Canal cruise using our Future Cruise bookings. Both received the paltry $100 OBC for our veranda cabins. I was a little surprised about the Panama Canal sailing.

No you do not have to be paid in full to be able to select flights. Perhaps you are not doing anything wrong. I had a similar problem 3-4 years ago. Tried every possible thing I could think of to no avail--different web browser, tried my wife's account, etc. I called Celebrity (they said they would pass the info on to their IT department) and I also posted the problem on Cruise Critic (no one else had this problem). No solution found. Since I was planning on using award miles to get my tickets directly through the carrier, my problem was not a big deal other than it bothered me. In the end, my cruise fell victim to the first wave of Covid cancellations and during that time I never could "select" a flight on FBC. Every cruise I booked months afterward never had this problem--I even booked my air on my recently completed Constellation TA using FBC--so it was all a big mystery on why I had that problem. If this problem doesn't go away for you either, you can always call FBC although you may endure long wait times.

We are booked on our first Asia cruise (Celebrity) that overnights in Halong Bay on Dec 31 2023. I have always assumed that for this trip (which has been lifted/shifted several times) we would book an overnight Halong Bay cruise shore excursion. However that means that we would miss being on the cruise ship for NYE. We have done NYE on Celebrity several times and so on one hand, we have done it before. On the other hand we do enjoy it. And of course, the shorex is expensive especially when you consider that we have already paid for our meals and cabin on the cruise ship for NYE. So my question: is it worth booking a 2 day/1 night Halong Bay shorex vs booking a 1 day trip? Do you get to see more of Halong Bay in the 2 day version?

We are booked on a Dec 2023-Jan 2024 Singapore to Hong Kong. It has been lifted/shifted 3 times. My guess is that this cruise will be a go although the itinerary may be radically changed to eliminate Hong Kong,.

The few slot pulls that I have participated in have been set up with the Casino Host after we all got on board the ship. I don't think the person on our roll call who organized the slot pull did any emailing with Celebrity or BCC beforehand. So you can pick out a date/time that you want to have the slot pull with your roll call before the cruise starts and then talk to the Casino Host after you get on board to finalize the time. If the date/time is different than what you originally planned, you will have to communicate this either thru the roll call or some other means. @Grandmaanne7

For my wife, son, and myself, we did not have to talk to anyone in the casino to request membership to the Blue Chip Club. From our vantage point, we were automatically enrolled. One day, we noticed that "Pearl" appeared on our SeaPass card...

I took some photos of cabin doors that were decorated and couldn't find them to post until now. The Happy Anniversary decoration on Cabin 8160 I presume is provided by Celebrity as I saw several of these on the ship.

I have read multiple posts on this forum that Air Canada will not let you select seats when you book thru FBC.

We finished our Constellation TA at Tampa on Nov 6. On Nov 11th, our points were added to our Captains Club account.

A free 10 night cruise on Edge is a pretty good thing.

Here is a screenshot of all the sailings listed in the drop down box in the Reservation Request Form. Because there are a limited number of free cabins being given out for each sailing, it is possible that a listed sailing is no longer available.

The free veranda offer gets sweeter (today's email): The 5,000 tier points alone puts you into the Onyx tier which is nice. Or is this a trap and you stop getting the free cruise offers that seem to be targeted to the Pearl members?
