  1. According to this 2017 Celebrity flyer, the answer is yes but just barely compared to Solstice itself. Obviously this chart reflects the cabin count before the upcoming recategorization and any changes from the Revolution makeover.
  2. We have always done Main (Early) Seating. And yes, if you wait a few minutes before the MDR doors open, you won't find any lines. During our Constellation sailing that we completed this month, there wasn't any line even at 6pm on the dot. I know Early Seating or fixed time seating is not for everyone, as @terrydtx said you should be able to get it changed once you get on board.
  3. .....except Terminal 18 & 25 which use facial recognition, according to the Port Everglades website.
  4. I would call if you have your heart set on a particular sailing. If you wait for them to call, your top sailing choices may be gone depending on how their system worked.
  5. Good review. Really nice photos. I hope you have a most excellent cruise.
  6. I totally agree with you. With that ambiguity in mind, that’s why I believe that @TMLAalum specifically wrote, “I plan on looking starting 12/4/2022 when the Europe itineraries are expected to be published as soon as the 5th.”
  7. As Elite, we prefer booking Cruise Only. However it is common that as subsequent sales occur, we get our booking re-priced and we end up with AI anyway.
  8. You are pretty much stuck working through your TA, but perhaps they can persuade Celebrity to forgo the cancellation fee. You have zero chance of getting the penalty lifted if you cancel by computer.
  9. That was my reaction as well when I read the Happy Thanksgiving email....
  10. You are correct in this case. However when we (Constellation) were docked right next to Infinity earlier this month, there were obvious differences between the two ships in how some of the balconies (Royal Suites in this case) are covered.
  11. are you suggesting the existence of a Blue Moon Party?
  12. Here is what the 2024/25 flyer says: link
  13. For those of you that organized your own private junk tour with roll call members, can you please give me some recommendations on who to contact if I choose to do the same thing. Also it would be helpful to know how many people you organized it for.
  14. Picking is one thing, paying is another! That is a very nice photo. I thought blue skies were included with the PH cruise fare?
  15. I looked thru my photos that I took during our Constellation cruise earlier this month and it looks like to me that the Deck 11 A1 balconies have minimal overhead coverage. Here are some older threads on the subject that I found: https://boards.cruisecritic.com.au/topic/1912240-millenium-a1-aqua-class-side-cabins-on-deck-11/
  16. They aft balconies on Decks 7-9 are mostly covered. The space near the rail is exposed. I know you are interested in AQ balcony coverage and I cannot say much about that. However I will dig out some photos to see if that helps. Just judging from the photo below, where you can see a balcony divider for an aft A1 balcony (to the right of the white sphere in the upper right corner), it looks like they are more exposed.
  17. I forgot to add that changing the input source on the Constellation stateroom television was straightforward with the supplied remote.
  18. Here is a shot of all the aft balconies as Constellation was leaving the port of Nassau on Nov 4th. Pretty much everyone was out on their balcony as this was our last port of call (after 6 straight sea days) before finishing out at Tampa. Where are the PS passengers? Probably up on the bridge or at the helipad.
  19. It's a matter of big (Deck 9), bigger (Deck 8), and biggest (Deck 7). They are all great (size-wise).
  20. Yes, the photo was taken from Deck 8 (8166). Deck 7 balconies are visible with Deck 6 PS balconies below them.
  21. I always bring an HDMI cable with me. I used it to connect our laptop with our Constellation stateroom television earlier this month.
  22. I take it you mean disembarkation! It's good to read that yours went so much smoother than ours.
  23. Either Deck 7 or 8 is good choice. Any of the 3 SV on that deck would be fine. The ones closest to the center would be 7208 and 8172. Note that Deck 7 aft balconies are about 3 feet deeper than Deck 8. Constellation, Nov 1 2022, somewhere on the North Atlantic Ocean
  24. I don't know about that, there is one CC member who is Onyx tier who posted that she was not getting any of the offers. BTW, my adult son who has gotten at least 6 emails for BCC free cruises spends zero on board which obviously Celebrity would be aware of.
  25. For what it is worth, here is a detailed view of the shore excursions offered for Celebrity's Feb 28 2023 GBR sailing on Eclipse: link. Eclipse is scheduled to stop at Arlie Beach, Cairns, and Port Douglas. A couple things to note: 1. A lot of excursions are sold out (listed at the bottom of the web page). 2. There is a shorex offered at Cairns called "Exploring the Great Barrier Reef". It is still available--probably because it is expensive--and it offers scuba diving as an option. You pay extra for it and you deal directly with the vendor for this. That is how it was set up for us when we went to the GBR back in 2018--you buy the ship's shorex and then pay for the scuba option. We did that at Arlie Beach and Cairns Day 1. Seeing this makes me wonder why Carnival hasn't put up your shore excursions for sale on their website. I looked at your itinerary and you don't have enough time to do an independent tour--you're are stuck having to buy your shorex thru Carnival. One of the advantages is that the snorkel/dive boats for Carnival's shore excursions will pick you up and drop you off at the ship which will be anchored. This reduces the transportation time to the reef and back which can be grueling. If you have more questions, let me know. If you would prefer to email me, feel free to contact me at mahdnc at yahoo dot com. Our daughter, Katie, posing next to a Giant Clam during our second day at Cairns.
