  1. Sorry. I have some notes that I still need to pull together that I intend to post about the Albergo del Senato. I will give you my assessment now. Yes, if we go back to Rome, I would book AdS again most definitely. We did book a Superior Double. The "Superior" designation means it has a Pantheon view. The view is fantastic and was one of the highlights of the trip. However I would book the hotel even if I couldn't get the view of the Pantheon. The roof top bar is an excellent alternative that offers a nice elevated view of the Pantheon. The hotel is very well run, with excellent service, and is in great condition. The location is excellent within easy walking distance of many of the attractions. You feel like you are in the middle of the action. Rooms are on the small side which is the norm for Rome. I measured our room to be just under 200 sq ft. So it's like a cruise ship cabin. However it is furnished very well--like a cruise ship cabin although there are limited options for storing your luggage in your room (so not as good as a cruise ship cabin). The only thing missing is a full service restaurant (there is a nice breakfast buffet served). However there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby such as the Armando al Pantheon.
  2. Yes, you should be able to identify them. OBC with the old reservation is lost except for booking on board OBC and RCL shareholder OBC. Any perks associated with the old reservation (free gratuities, drink packages, wifi packages) are lost and then replaced with whatever you get from the new reservation. You do not lose your deposit. You do not lose any pre-cruise purchases you made through your Cruise Planner although I would expect ones that are affected to be refunded to you (example: if you paid for an upgrade to a premium bev package for a classic bev package that you no longer have). Any transfers you purchased should still be good. If you had a Celebrity Air discount associated with the old reservation that is not on your new reservation, you would lose that.
  3. You contact your TA or CVP and tell them that there is a price drop/promotion for the category cabin that you have booked. They should be able to get your existing reservation modified to reflect the current prevailing pricing/promotion. You will lose whatever OBC/perks that your old reservation had and it will be replaced with the OBC/perks under the current promo/prevailing rate. The only exceptions are any OBC you received from booking on board and RCL shareholder benefit OBC as they will be preserved as long as the booking number does not change which it should not. Today Celebrity temporarily bumped up their OBC offer by $50 which you should get as well. Good luck.
  4. About 50 min. You have until Jan 3 to watch it and still get the PUPs.
  5. The westward version has the favorable time zone changes where you will have several 25 hr days which is nice. Arriving Sydney with no jet lag will also be nice. Are all the ports of call the same in both directions?
  6. I had a coworker from a long time ago that missed embarking on Horizon at Port Everglades because of an infamous security disruption at ATL causing them to miss their connecting flight to FLL. They and a dozen other passengers got to the pier just in time to see Horizon sailing off on the horizon. Celebrity bussed them to the next port (Key West) where they were able to board and enjoy the rest of the cruise.
  7. You move up to the next level at the conclusion of the cruise.
  8. Yes, I saw that. Very nice. And no voucher or trip to the iLounge necessary--it's automatic. Now I want to call and get my Captains Club discount for upgrading. Not really.
  9. I took it to mean the latter. 10% off the cruise only fare with drinks, Wi-Fi, and tips added for free.
  10. Our son received a new BCC offer today via email. It is no longer a free cruise. The sailings look to be about the same as last time (Caribbean or Mexican Riviera).
  11. I know it says voucher but aren't WiFi upgrades purchased through your Cruise Planner just automatically done without requiring a physical visit to anywhere? That is how we upgraded our basic wifi package for our Constellation cruise last month.
  12. Yes, I was successful in getting the shareholder benefit applied to two cruises that I booked last month. I emailed shareholderbenefit@rccl.com and received the benefit 3 hrs 8 min later according to the email time stamps.
  13. Yes, it translates into 5 Captains Club Points.
  14. Did you see the multi-day Angkor Wat excursions?
  15. I will let you know as I am watching it now.
  16. If you are looking at a round trip cruise out of Japan, I would think you should be pretty good from a disruption/cancellation standpoint. The country is opening up. My son and his girlfriend are flying there later this week for a ski vacation.
  17. Thank you. The mind sees what it wants to see.
  18. Aboard Constellation, cigars are sold at the shop along with alcohol, cigarettes, and snacks.
  19. Your sailing date in the title cannot be correct if you are on board already. Or are you doing a B2B? We originally had the Dec 22 2022 Equinox Holiday cruise booked but unfortunately had to cancel many months ago. Sure wish we were going.
  20. We live near the first Coopers Hawk that was built (Orland Park, Illinois). I had no idea that they had spread out to Florida.
  21. I’ve not experienced any problems this weekend.
