  1. Sounds like the architects of the fort knew what they were doing…..
  2. Here is a mini-brochure regarding onboard weddings which lists prices for the various services that can be provided. The brochure is dated 2020 so today's pricing may be different. There is no information on cabin pricing.
  3. You got an excellent price for your Aqua Suite with the added benefit that the deposit is fully refundable which is nice. It's actually a steal. You should be very pleased.
  4. A picture of a piece in production that my son was doing on Christmas Day 2019 as Solstice was cruising the Tasman Sea.
  5. Here’s some closeups of the Hot Glass Show pieces with prices during our Christmas 2019 Solstice cruise:
  6. I think that’s what our roll call did. Have fun.
  7. Someone recently posted in this forum that they caught an 0900 flight out of FLL (Port Everglades disembark):
  8. We were on Constellation last month, and there were board games stored in the Library on Deck 8, but none of them were Mahjong. It's possible there were Mahjong sets there but they were already taken. I will tag some of the mahjong players on our Constellation TA cruise as they may have something to add: @gapeach522 @tonto524 @Franel1 @kush1 @travelling wizard
  9. You will get varying opinions based on varying experiences. Personally, I like to book a flight no earlier than noon because I don't want to be stressed out about it. However if you are willing to do the self walk off (you carry your bags off the ship yourself, but you get to get off first), then a morning flight (like 10 am or later) is very do-able.
  10. I hope you have a nice cruise. We were on Constellation last month and enjoyed it thoroughly.
  11. I agree, call back to get a different agent, you may get a more favorable answer. I am a month away from needing to book my Galapagos air although I do not have the air discount promo with FBC. I was thinking of looking into what FBC offers--which has to be done by phone and cannot be done on the web from what I can see. The alternative is to book the air independently which is what I am most likely to do.
  12. If the curtains on a different cruise ship weren't good enough to block things out for you while wearing a mask, I am not sure if the next cruise ship (in your case, Silhouette) will be any better. What ship were you on for your Baltic cruise?
  13. It's good to see that the bonus points were awarded properly.
  14. We sailed on our very first TA (westbound in this case) aboard Constellation last month. I posted and maintained a "Live from Constellation" thread which would be of interest to you. Here is the link. We enjoyed it very much and would love to do another one again some day. As far as the weather goes, there is no guarantee--you are just going to have to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Our weather was pretty good although we were not out on deck a lot. A 13 night itinerary where there are a lot of sea days to explore the ship sounds "taylor"-made for Beyond, if you ask me.
  15. We decorate our Christmas tree with ornaments purchased at the US National Parks that we have visited over the years. Glacier National Park, 1987
  16. Here are some other data points from my family. My wife, son, and I are Pearl tier members and we have never been higher than that. Our son is currently 26 and my wife and I are in our early 60's. My wife exclusively plays the slots (usually the lowest denomination--penny or maybe nickel). My son and I exclusively play blackjack at the lowest minimum tables. My betting is consistently at the minimum for each hand ($10). My son likes to vary his bet so it may swing from $10 to $20 per hand. Together the three of us probably play 3-4 times during a cruise ranging from 1-2 hrs each time. We cruise once per year. Of the 3 of us, our son is getting the free cruise offers since July. He has yet to accept one and I would say that he has received emails offering free cruises 8-10 times so far including one earlier this week. The emails are sent to my email address. I used to forward them on to our son and now that I know he doesn't have time to do it, I throw them in the trash now which makes me ill each time. I may need to see a therapist.
  17. Starting in July, there have been a large number of free cruises being offered to Pearl tier members of the Blue Chip Club which is unusual because Pearl is the entry tier. That's all we know for sure.
  18. And this concludes the 2024/2025 deployment schedule.
  19. It depends from where your ship is sailing. Here is your answer straight from Celebrity's FAQs on their website (link). "The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on Celebrity Cruises® ships sailing from North America is 21. The minimum drinking age for all alcoholic beverages on Celebrity Cruises® ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand is 18. Guests may contact Guest Relations or refer to Celebrity Today for specific minimum drinking age information on their cruise vacation."
  20. @Tee & Chilli stayed in one of those cabins on Constellation last month. She posted a nice "Live" review. Here is one of the posts with photos of her cabin: In the thread she also has photos of a normal Constellation OV for comparison.
  21. Sorry you had to settle. What were you hoping to see?
  22. They may be very distracted with bigger problems:
  23. And there was much joy throughout the land!
  24. If you have an early return on Day 2, then you can be pretty sure it is EC.
  25. No I have not which is good. It's just a possibility, that's all.
