  1. Nice review. Perhaps we will hear from the six year old? You may have to take dictation!
  2. Yes, it’s not immediately visible. It’s a made-to-cook pasta station during lunch time.
  3. Looks like a different menu from the TA. Did you like the food and presentation?
  4. Interesting. We have sailed in cabins facing the bow six times on S class ships and I never saw anything like that. Solstice, Dec 31 2019, Doubtful Sound (NZ)
  5. On another note, Celebrity is not offering any cruises that happen to be in the path of the total solar eclipse on Apr 8 2024. On that day, Holland America and Princess will have ships in Mazatlan, Mexico. Assuming that it stays clear, the passengers will be treated to quite the spectacle. If you are not going to be on a ship, be sure to block out time for it to see on land. The narrow path of totality will cross the USA cities of Dallas, San Antonio, Paducah KY, Indianapolis, Dayton, Cleveland, Buffalo, and Rochester. My wife and I took our first cruise on Carnival's Jubilee which happen to be at the right place (Mazatlan) at the right time (Jul 11 1991) to see the longest total solar eclipse of the century (we would have gone even if it wasn't the longest). Unforgettable sight. Aug 21 2017 Total Solar Eclipse, Paducah KY Jul 11 1991 Total Solar Eclipse, Carnival Jubilee, off the coast of Mazatlan
  6. Blue R = Revolutionized Red letters mean new ship to the region If you click on the link to see the entire flyer, you will find the key for the table.
  7. I look forward to seeing your daughter's review, @GnarleeDude.
  8. That's the first time that I have seen that low netting barrier (aka tripping hazard) set up during a passenger event at the helipad.
  9. Congratulations to both of you. If you are about to celebrate your 65th wedding anniversary, then you guys are pretty SMART!
  10. I checked an hour ago and my Cruise Planner is back up and operating. Amazingly, a large amount of shore excursions were loaded to our Apr 2025 Solstice Transpacific sailing which is almost 30 months away.
  11. Nice. We should make a traveling trophy--to be possessed by the current record holder.
  12. I found the accompanying Fleet Guide, updated for the upcoming 2024/25 season interesting: https://creative.rccl.com/Sales/Celebrity/General_Info/Flyers/CEL_2024_2025_Fleet_Guide_Flyer.pdf
  13. My Cruise Planner has been down all morning.
  14. I am pretty sure about that—even under the old category names this was true.
  15. Well we were at the back of the ship. Maybe we they ran out!
  16. Wow. 3 hrs 3 min. That’s how long it took for my RCL shareholder OBC to be granted when I sent emails this afternoon requesting the credit for my two new bookings that I just made. They were for 2024 and 2025 sailings.
  17. The Book Later forms we got on Constellation have you up to 18 months
  18. Yeah, we had those old style paper laundry bags on our TA. Makes if quite challenging to stuff your clothes in there.
  19. Nice. I presume Beyond was in the process of sailing away?
  20. FWIW, here the wine-by-the-glass pricing found in the wine list aboard Constellation this month:
  21. During our Connie TA cruise earlier this month I saw a British couple take $200 of promo chips from their OBC at the cashier cage and proceed to go straight to the roulette table. They split the promo chips between them and one bet on red and while the other bet on black. The winner would be paid in cashable chips while the loser would lose their promo chips. The retained stack of promo chips from the winner would then be split in half and the procedure would be re-run again. When you do that, zero and double zero is your enemy and they were able to avoid that fate that until they were down to betting one single $5 promo chip.
  22. It's tempting to do. The only problem for me is that I already have already spent the rest of my allotted vacation this year on a TA cruise that I just finished and 4 weeks of vacation for next year have been allocated to cruises (Galapagos + Asia)....
  23. Here in Chicago, I noticed that the sailings were released around 10 pm on the night before.
