  1. I’m a Brit living in middle of the pond between the US and the UK. We get groceries/foodstuff imported from both sides so I need to check the origin before checking the eat by date! 😎😉🤓
  2. No, don’t bring any plug-in night lights - they do not always work. Bring battery-operated tea lights instead.
  3. Oh yes! We fly on AA back to Bermuda and have used AA’s Admiral Lounge several times. Both in MIA and in JFK. Your plan is the best. May I ask, which ship and when?
  4. @LONGLEAVER You're flying internationally to the UK, right? If yes, wait on ship until you're finally kicked off ship, and catch a cab and go straight to airport. There may be a queue for the cabs so you can pass a bit of time there. You need to check in for your UK flight at least 3 hours before, and the TSA lines are long long! And boarding starts 45-60 mins before the flight's departure time. Which airline? After TSA there are plenty of eateries and bars in the international departure area. 16:45pm is rather early therefore please do not make any plans to sightsee or get a day room as you need to be at the airport by 1-1:30pm. We are veterans of departing from MIA airport on late afternoon international flights so we hang around in MIA airport. Walk around, eat, drink, visit the stores.
  5. Somebody who is on the Dawn at the moment said at their Q&A (or M&M, I can’t remember) with Officers it was announced that the next Prima ship will be called Aqua and the 4th one Bella.
  6. Wow! Didn’t realize the Star has an atrium 4 levels high! Hint: please include a space line between your photos. 😉 GREAT photos though. Enjoy another of your pub crawls in Dublin!
  7. Let’s hope there is going to be one on the Viva so we all can attend even if we have the P+ booze pkg. In old times … before the booze pkgs, that is … we attended all, if not most, of those Martini Tastings!!! 6 weeks to go!!!
  8. When taking landscape pictures make sure the shutter button is on the right side of the phone.
  9. It was well past after her cruise …. She was okay 👍🏻 with it … she had a bit too much to drink and was a bit flossy but she’s okay … there was a Plan B 😉 A lesson for her to learn. P. S. She, her family and friends love the NCL … so they’ll carry on cruising with them.
  10. A co-worker went on a NCL cruise a couple of years ago (around her 3rd NCL cruise). After a few drinks she went up to Cruise Next desk to enquire about the Cruise Nexts and the next thing she did was purchase 8 CNs for the "low price" (her words) of $1000. As it turned out she didn't listen to the whole sales pitch or read .... I had to break the bad news to her that she could use only one, sometimes two, per cabin when she books future cruises. She went a big 🤦‍♀️. I added that she has 4 years to use them and also she can transfer some to her relatives or friends if they had NCL accounts. She went on another NCL cruise the following year and used 2 CNs, and she donated some CNs to family as gifts so they booked the same cruise to go with her. They had a jolly great time together on the Encore. 😁
  11. Great! We had the same cabin on both legs of our B2B Alaskan cruise and it was great!
  12. Take your own OTC meds and if your doctor can prescribe it for you the paxlovid on the cruise with you. Read that thread … and decide for yourself … every cruise has had some reported Covid cases and many unreported (until after the cruises).
  13. You’re fine. You’re leaving from and returning to the same US port (New York) and visiting a foreign country (Canada). Earlier this summer we went on 2 Back to Back cruises, starting and ending in Seward Alaska with Vancouver Canada as the turnaround/transition port. Same thing.
  14. No. Bring your own. Small upscale & luxury ship might have them in the cabins but larger ships will not have them complimentary. Some NCL shops do have them for sale.
  15. It’s crapshoot … and two words … lifeboat maintenance. But I don’t think you’ll really care which side! 🤓🥳😁
  16. Which ship and which cabin? There are no "obstructed balcony" cabins on any of the NCL ships.
  17. It's Obstructed Ocean View, not really PrivaSea. Your view will be obstructed by lifeboat but you'll still see the sky and sea.
  18. Forgot to add we booked the obstructed ocean view (OK) cabin on the Star for our Norway/Svalbard/Iceland cruise next year June. You'll see lifeboat in front of you but you'll still be able to see the sea and sky. So that is good enough for us.
