  1. March 23 had about 2060. As others have said the wifi was horrible. Hard to connect and constantly getting kicked off. The ship has StarLink so the internet wasn't bad once you could get connected to the ships wifi infrastructure. I get complementary WiFi and I really wanted to ask for a refund. If I were paying I'd be very upset. I've been on all but a couple Celebrity ships and never had this trouble.
  2. Pool bar and Oceanview Bar will be your best places to look. Availability can be pretty hit/miss.
  3. They were mistaken. It will be the difference and it will be applied to your seapass account.
  4. I think they want them to call to discuss the details and to cancel them if they don't meet the requirements.
  5. Celebrity states earliest flight for their transfers is 12:15. If you can do walk off and have private transport I think you would be ok. Priority disembarkation for Concierge Class or Elite Captains club members is really non existent, it just means you have a special place to wait for your number to be called. The best you can do if not doing walk off is to go to guest relations and ask for the earliest tag number possible. Remember Suites are the only ones with real priority disembarkation.
  6. Your not crazy. Minimum I'd Move Up from that room would be a CS/RS/PH
  7. They get the $1.80 or so that their employer decided was the appropriate gratuity for the service they charge $9.95 for.
  8. I don't think she needs a separate Celebrity account. You will each have different wifi logins to enable your device.
  9. I checked in for my sailing departing from Barcelona 2 days ago. I was able to checkin 7 pm which is equivalent to midnight Barcelona time.
  10. The last couple of sailings we have seen some of the guest performers doing 2 different shows on different evenings. I guess another form of cost savings.
  11. You can get much more than 2% with many travel agents.
  12. About 15 years ago we had 3 or 4 sailings in a row where the entire contents of the minibar was charged to our card after the sailing ended. We had our end of sailing statement. Each time it was reversed without an issue. It was an issue commonly reported at that time. I do think it was something more than mistakes.
  13. It's always fun to look a the room number on the tag and try to figure out which cruise it's from.
  14. I'm very sure you are able to combine the pre-cruise discount and the CC discount.
  15. Woodwind does have a new boat since 2015. I think they were doing 24 passengers and reduced to 16 for covid. I suspect they are back to 24. They are still a better operation than any of the cruise ship snorkel trips! I've done them 3 or 4 times.
  16. You can change to another cabin in the same sub category even after final payment. Find one available by doing a mock booking then call whomever you booked with and ask for the cabin change. We like bed by balcony as it gives you the floor space as you enter the cabin without having to get around the bed. We find with bed by the bath access to the closet is difficult.
  17. I believe they have. They are trying hard to protect price integrity. I'm assuming they don't want people to get into the habit of booking lower cabins knowing they can MoveUp multiple levels with a minimum bid
  18. This option requires a paid internet package. You are correct you need wifi calling on to do SMS texting but other methods like WhatsApp, iMessage, GoogleVoice don't require wifi calling, just wifi and paid internet connection. I think most people inquiring about the substandard messaging in the Celebrity app don't want to pay for internet package so will just use the free wifi which only allows use of the app onboard.
  19. I'd bring my passport as well as you will probably have to clear immigration.
  20. You can get off any time after disembarkation starts, usually around 7:30. You will use the "transit pass" they issue you in your B2B packet to skip the check-in lines to reboard the ship. You can't reboard until general boarding starts somewhere around 11-11:30.
  21. Yes I used to love them as very few people would want to pay the upcharge for them over a S2 leaving many unsold. I would often bid on a Suite GTY (W) and almost always be assigned the AS. I know the approach this time is to take some of the "better" S2 cabins and reclassify them with the aqua ammenities and try to extract the upcharge. Some sailing I've seen over 1k pp. Not worth it to me.
