As I said simple solution for those with package. Ad unable to get served in certain ports, demand guest services refund the service charge as pre paid. If they refuse have them remove the DSC and tell staff why it was removed. After the inevitable crew discontent with bar staff who is getting tipped for doing nothing, the policy will be adjusted. Ad I said earlier it’s a nuclear option but effective one as paying customer, us should not be the loser. This is a paid vacation not a charity service.

Simple solution for getting your money back . Yank the DSC and tell them why as the service charge for the drink package is non refundable . This will get their attention. As for those who believe it is screwing over the crew who gets this advice them to speak with the bar crew who are getting paid for service not rendered. It may be a nuclear option but it is something that would cause management to address issue and have us not out of pocket.

If using NCL BOGO remember the line from Blazing Saddles, son you are on your own.

Have a conversation with YC Director. They will go overboard to make you happy. We had a similar situation and they got us in one restaurant and for Butchers Cut arranged the dinner to be served in the YC dining room

Question as we are on NCL in August and plan to do on our own from Kiel to Hamburg. How far is train station from where ship docks? As I saw the ridiculous price for Kiel to Hamburg shuttle. We plan to do a free walking tour and hit Groningers Brewery for lunch. Language is not issue for me. Is it realistic to do Hamburg and be back before 6pm
