  1. I have been on both. The advantages of the Reflection are Murano and the Sky Lounge for me. As for the Beyond, the Theater is outstanding as is Eden Restaurant at night. The ship is stunning. The production shows were great. Beware on the Beyond because there seem to be rooms that are really noisy due to creaking. Our room was quiet but we ran into several cruisers who had difficulties sleeping. You may want to check out reviews of cabins.
  2. You will be billed if you order drinks not on the Happy Hour drinks menu. Otherwise, nothing to sign.
  3. I found the hair shampoo and conditioner irritated my scalp. No such issues with my wife. There is a shelf which holds the bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. You can remove them and put your own in that shelf.
  4. Make sure your name is checked off by the muster attendant. The attendant did not check off my name and the Captain threatened to call out the names of those that did not check before we departed.
  5. We had Bigelow products across the board on our recent cruise on the Beyond.
  6. Just off the Beyond. The burgers were larger and did not have much taste. At least they were not swimming like before. I added grilled onions, fresh onions, pickles, mayo, relish, mustard and ketchup. Tasted better. I did like their all beef hot dogs as they were not overcooked.
  7. There is a buffet for all 3 meals. Go to your Cruise Planner and you will see the prices for the Specialty Restaurants and if discounts are being offered.
  8. No lines in the shower area but there were a couple of knobs that I was able to hang bathing suits.
  9. I had the same experience calling Captain's Club. The agent wanted $140 to upgrade from Classic to Premium. The next day, I called the main number and the person was very knowledgeable. Paid $60 which I had expected to be the amount.
  10. I would go to Eden. The filet mignon was very tender and they had the best crab cake I ever had. The lobster casserole is not to be missed. The presentation of foods is outstanding as was the service. Fine Cut Steakhouse was fine but it was just a good steakhouse for us. After having been to both, we returned for another meal at Eden later in our cruise.
  11. There was still creaking in many rooms when the seas were calm. I was told that it was due to the amount of pvc used in the ceilings and walls.
  12. There is some misinformation on some of those FB groups.
  13. We asked twice on the Beyond and the answer was "no". So we went to a MDR (Normandie) that night to get the menu that suited us. Had a very good meal and service. On another night, I ordered the everyday sirloin in Blu which was excellent.
  14. On the Beyond, we were not able to order from one of the MDRs. So we went to the dining room of our choice instead of Blu.
  15. That would be nice and thank you for the tip. One of us at the next tier is better than neither of us there. 2 bags of laundry is more than sufficient.
  16. For our upcoming cruise, I will be Elite Plus and spouse will be Elite. I was told that spouse would be entitled to all Elite Plus privileges by the Captain's Club Host on our last cruise.
  17. My understanding is that if the cabin mate is a spouse or family member, there is no problem. However, if the guest is not a relative or family member, then all bets are off.
  18. On the Beyond a couple of weeks ago, there were no iPhones. But contrary to other reports, they had the latest MacBooks and iPads. The pricing was the same as in an Apple Store. There was a good inventory of all of the above products.
  19. Especially those that show up with past Zenith room keys proudly displayed on multi-layered lanyards. I hope these cruisers remember which room key to use.
  20. We were in the Caribbean on the Beyond recently and it was a struggle with video conferencing on the Premium Package. There was no problem with emails as long as there were no attached photos. With photos, it was dependent on our location.
  21. Celebrity asked us to bring copies of the cards but we were never asked for them. Had them just in case. We were asked if we were vaccinated during the check-in at the cruise port in FLL.
  22. Good point. One night, all the Specialty Restaurants were closed for a group onboard. The group had reserved all of them for the evening.
  23. Canapes were discontinued on the Beyond. No more. We asked about the "interesting" view from Blu. I was told they were considering placing outdoor dining tables out there.
  24. If you want to try one, Eden is the place to dine. The crab cake and the lobster casserole are outstanding. Our second choice would be Fine Cut Steakhouse. If going to both, go to Fine Cut first.
