  1. The difference between the pre-cruise basic and premium internet was $13. I got 30% off that difference. Quick transaction over the phone.
  2. I just upgraded yesterday. We received the Elite 30% discount. The cost of upgrading for a 7 day cruise was $63.
  3. When I think of the Mast Grill, I visualize those former hockey pucks sitting in a pool of "liquid' waiting to be served. Best bet is to ask for the patties to be brushed with butter and grilled and then load up the burger with sautéed onions, mushrooms, fresh onions, pickles, horseradish, mayo, ketchup and mustard. Make sure you have a stiff drink to wash it down.
  4. If you don't see what you are looking for, you should ask the staff there as some items may be available in the storage closet.
  5. We were discouraged from booking a room near the Magic Carpet by our Celebrity Cruise Planner. She booked the room on the other side for us.
  6. Many were probably getting ready to head out for the Early Birds specials.😀
  7. There have been items in the iLounge. Be careful as they have some earlier models and discontinued items. Do your homework beforehand. Items seen were discontinued routers and some slightly older iPads.
  8. Check the page out carefully. There should be two options of paying. However, as mentioned, if the OBC is from a non-Celebrity source, you would have to wait until you board. On Reflection, we have booked upon boarding. But try to book before the cruise to guarantee the discount.
  9. He won't be able to dine with you in Blu. However, all of you could dine in a Specialty Restaurant, MDR or in the Buffet. There may be an opportunity for him to upgrade to Aqua in the future.
  10. Much depends on which class you are cruising. Some ships are more conducive to certain classes. If you are traveling with the common folk, then I would go for an S-class ship. My first choice would be Silhouette. Great Sky Lounge, ship layout, and great food.
  11. What were your favorites for Dinner at Eden? Looking at the lobster as one option but anything really stood out? Thank you for taking the time in sharing your cruise with us!
  12. To make a reservation, you have to pay either via card or your OBC. However, if you cancel, the amount will be refunded by the method you initially paid. As mentioned, carefully check the box indicating how you will make your reservation.
  13. If you have OBC (on board credit), it will be deducted from that amount. If not, you would have to pay by credit card. You will be given the options to pay at checkout.
  14. You have got to get there early to beat the card playing geezers by the Spa Cafe,
  15. There are some that just love to complain. There is one regular poster who was on my cruise who went down to Guest Relations to complain that the ship left Port Everglades 30 minutes EARLY and wanted compensation!
  16. We had Oreo Cookie ice cream on our last cruise. I should not have eaten it all! 😀 We have also had Coconut. Much depends on who is making the ice cream.
  17. If you arrive even an hour later, you should have plenty of time. Done that.
  18. I would look at another cruise line such as Holland America, Princess, etc. Better itineraries.
  19. In my state, I buy fresh haddock filets for less than $10 a pound.
  20. That dish was served a couple of days at the buffet. It was nicely prepared. One of my favorite dishes.
  21. No, reservations for the first night on our cruises opened up around 6 months beforehand. They were gone in a couple of months.
  22. When we registered for the seminar, it was written that the points would be credited by the 14th of January. That will be this Saturday.
  23. I have used the shoeshine service. I gave my shoes to the stateroom attendant and he took care of it. My shoes were back in the stateroom by dinner time. Pleased with the outcome. An additional tip was given at the end of the cruise.
