One of our excursions had booked up quickly. So on Day 2 of our cruise, there had been a cancellation and we booked. It was about $5 more each but we got our excursion.

There were people wearing robes in the sauna. crystalarium and salt room. Not in the steam rooms.

We were on the Beyond last week. Most wore swimwear in the steam/sauna rooms. Then when leaving the room, most would put their robe back on.

Bo, I try to get cabins above me. As this cabin is below the Aqua Spa Cafe, you may hear sounds as the Cafe opens at 7 am and they need to get ready for cruisers. Much may depend if you are a light sleeper. As this cabin has a larger balcony, maybe you could sleep out there and enjoy the sounds of the sea. 😀 You will like Aqua Class. Bon Voyage.

We had arrived at 6:30 to eat in Normadie. Ahead of us were 3 singer/dancers from the production show. All of us were told that the restaurant was full and we should come back in an hour. So the next night when we wanted to eat early, we made sure we arrived at 5:30 pm. No problem...

We had forgotten our beach bag last week. Our Stateroom Attendant brought for one for us when we asked. However, there was no bag on our bed as in the past. In order to be on the safe side, bring one along.

Beyond is a beautiful ship and the food is excellent. Staff is a nice mix of experienced staff and new hires. You should hope to get a quiet room without any creaking in the walls and ceilings. Or bring along ear plugs or noise cancelling headphones.

You are right on. We had the Eden Lobster Casserole twice on our cruise and it was outstanding. The three most popular items on their menu are the Blue Crab Crabcake appetizer, the Nova Scotia Lobster Casserole, and the Filet Mignon/Beef Wellington entrees.

We did an upgrade last week and depending where you were, you could send photos. Many of our emails could not be sent with attached photos. FaceTime did not perform well with the Premium Plan.

1. We were told we could not order from the menu of any of the MDR. We asked for Normandie and were told "no". So we went to Normandie and had a great meal. But get there early as the first time, we arrived at 6:15 and were told to come back in an hour. 2. All of those are available. 3. Fine Cut was very good. Especially if you enjoy beef dishes. Great staff. 4. Eden was outstanding. Check with the hostess when you arrive or periodically as there are cancellations. We ate there twice last week.

The Sky Lounge and a true balcony would make huge differences for me to take in the scenery. Go with Silhouette.

This was a main course. There was a lot of real lobster meat. Not that MDR "lobster". Well prepared.

Remember the burger chain that had the Daddy, Mommy and Baby burgers? Maybe the same for these "lobsters" or whatever they are.

Neither one looks appetizing.

Last week on the Beyond, it was open daily for lunch 12-2 and for dinner 5:30 to 10. Both port and sea days.

On our cruise last week in Beyond, there were generally only 3 entrees available in Blu. On a couple of nights, nothing really appealed and we went to Specialty Restaurants or to one of the MDR. The service was comparable but the quality of food was a big step above in my opinion.

No longer in Aqua Class.

You have chosen probably the newest and best ship in the Edge Class. Check out the S-Class ships including Reflection, Silhouette, and Equinox. You won't be disappointed. We were just on the Beyond and towards the end of the cruise, there was no Coke Zero. People were being offered a Sprite product. The cruise was getting low on several items mid-cruise. You can always bring your own on board and store them in your refrigerator. Dress codes were being enforced on the Beyond. We saw people being turned away at breakfast with muscle shirts and shorts at dinner. Decent looking jeans will be fine as long as no holes. Tip: On Beyond, you should try Eden, a Specialty Restaurant. But make reservations early on your planner. We made our 6 months in advance of the cruise. Well worth it! Enjoy your cruise.

I tried a couple of locations on the ship and it made no difference even with the Premium Plan. You may want to try climbing by the smoke stacks to be closer to the Satellite. 😀 Seriously, I expected more from the Premium Plan but I wonder if it would make a difference what part of the world the ship was located. For us, service was poor for the first day leaving FLL and from the Dominican Republic back to FLL. The best service was in the areas around St. Maarten and St. Thomas.

Or make sure you have a port intensive cruise so you can use land-based Internet. You should be ok on the ship if you are only using basic email.

Check your booking to see if you got the All Inclusive Plan which would include Basic. If so, in order to upgrade and receive the 30% off, you have to call Celebrity in order to apply the 30% discount. If you have Elite status, you would automatically receive 90 free minutes under the Premium Plan and this would be separate from the above. We had the issues using two different iPhones.

We just came off Beyond. Basic emails worked just fine on both plans as long as there were no photos or need to use apps like FaceTime. Even on the Premium Plan, sending attachments like photos did not function consistently. Same was true with FaceTime as if it went through, the person called usually did not see me and only heard my voice. However, I could see and hear them when connected. A staff member told me that was typical for the ship's service and for better results, for me to use Internet at ports. That was the case.

You will find a list of restaurants and the hours on the Celebrity App. That will be very helpful. As for the Spa Cafe, it used to be open upon arrival but was not open recently. We were disappointed. Actually, the beef hot dogs at the Mast Grill were really good last week and I preferred them over the hamburger.
