  1. Not true, long pants and closed toed shoes are required. They sent people back to their cabins to change and it held up the tour for everyone else that had to wait 15-20 for them to get back.
  2. These are my thoughts exactly. You paid for a beverage package (which you used) not for a free cup (that you did not use). You got what you paid for on the first cruise and now you want to cheat the system on the second cruise. This is the reason packages are so expensive for everyone. When people share it makes the cost for others go up. I don't have a dog in the race as we don't buy any type of package but seems everyone wants to cheat the system or rules in place.
  3. They are not always available. I used to request through Special Needs and a few cruises back they said the ship no longer had them available but we were welcome to bring our own. A couple of times I asked onboard and got one. The next time none were available so now we pack our own. I need the moving air and noise to sleep.
  4. No way! We're late 50's and mid-60's and still do the slides. It's great fun.
  5. You can bring it on but it will be collected and held until the final night of your cruise when it will be left in your cabin.
  6. Entertainment for our 9/17/23 Wonder cruise opened last night for everything except comedy club. Comedy club was there this morning. Check in opens tomorrow (at midnight eastern tonight).
  7. Congrats! We enjoy your videos. Will you be in the casino on Icon?
  8. Soda, water, beer and wine 11-11. Mixed drinks in addition 5-8pm.
  9. According to the policy I posted above, you will not get double points. It must have originally been booked as a solo cruise. Our friend had the exact same thing happen and did not get double points. She went to C&A, customer service, emails, etc. ... they all pointed her to this policy which changed sometime last year. YMMV and you might get lucky but I wouldn't count on getting double points.
  10. If you open the app, choose profile, select a different cruise, browse our ships, Navigator then pick the current cruise, daily planner, entertainment and select by the day at the bottom you can see the entire weeks show schedules. We were on 2 weeks ago and they didn't provide us with a weekly paper that showed all the shows.
  11. I did this a couple of weeks ago on Navigator, first time I'd seen it offered. It was held in the jewelry store. A man, who didn't seem to excited about it, took my ring and cleaned it in front of us. Handed it back and we said thanks... the end. Never really spoke to us at all and definitely didn't try to sell us anything. I was very surprised.
  12. The lists are in the app under dining, choose the venue, then menu, scroll to the bottom. If your cruise isn't populated yet, select your profile, choose another cruise, scroll to the bottom, browse our ships, pick Harmony, then the current sailing. I believe the list is the same for all cruises no matter the ship.
  13. We've seen the same thing in ports... from ice cream to whole pizzas. People took it back off and were trying to cram it all down before boarding the ship.
  14. On Allure in January this came up at a Q&A with the Cruise Director about all the shows being reserved before board. Cory said that they hold 20% of all seats available back even though it shows there are none available. Once you board the ship the other 20% become available for anyone to make reservations. If you miss out on that he advised to just show up 15 minutes prior to the show and at 10 til they open the venue for all remaining seats. People get busy having fun elsewhere, change their minds and forget to cancel, have conflicting dinner reservations, etc. There are also multiple showings of each performance so if you don't get in on one day try another. It will all work out. Don't stress.
  15. https://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news/royal-caribbean-drops-key-port-from-some-alaska-itineraries/ar-AA1aRHWs This news story explains the reason they cannot port. After the rock slide there is not room for 2 mega ships to port at the dock RCI uses. RCI made the call on which ship.
  16. On Allure this came up during an upper tier meet & greet with the entertainment staff and cruise director. The CD told us that the ship holds back 20% of all seats for onboard booking the first day. If by the time you board they are then full, just show up 20 minutes early and get in line. People make reservations and forget, get busy doing something else or just change their mind and don't show up or cancel their reservation. At 10 minutes until the show starts anyone can go in a sit anywhere in the venue for the show until it is full. For example we went to a sold out ice show and it never got more than 2/3 full. There were still a ton of open seats when the show started. Don't stress about it!
  17. Hubby just boarded Adventure today and on the D+ onboard benefits it now says 5 drinks daily up to $14 (excludes Starbucks and Johnny Rocket milkshakes). First time we've seen that. He was just on Adventure a few weeks ago and was able to use a voucher a couple of days to get a free shake.
  18. Currently messaging is shut down fleet wide due to a breach of some sort last week with inappropriate texts being sent to everyone onboard. Until that issue is fixed there is no chat on any ship.
  19. Basically just June/July on Oasis class ships and Christmas/NY sailings on others.
  20. Thanks for this information. I just sent a message to see if they could accommodate us.
  21. I was looking at a cruise a few days ago on Wonder for January and the inside cabins were priced $300 higher than an oceanview balcony!
  22. Everything that I have seen indicates the 3rd week of April.
