  1. Call RC or whoever you booked with to verify the possible change.
  2. I respectively donated it back to them and requested it never be used to toast a Pop-Tart in my honor.
  3. What makes you assume they already don't have an expert in that field?
  4. I ate untoasted Pop-Tarts a lot in the morning at work for breakfast. When I retired I was given a toaster. 😂
  5. Once you go non-toasted you'll never go back. 😁
  6. Agree. Avocado in any form it excellent. Split it open season it with salt and pepper or onion and garlic salt or hot sauce.
  7. Damn, I thought they still did. Oh well, whatever it is I still like it waaaaay too much.
  8. We really like asparagus. I cut it from the ditch banks in the spring west of our house when I'm walking. We were disappointed on our March Explorer cruise when we had the broiled lobster and it came out with broccoli. Speaking of liver (🤮) and onions on the same cruise the couple (the guy) next to us asked the head waiter why they don't offer liver and onions in the MDR. Yikes! My wife likes it. But she has a lot more adventurous palate than I do. But I can eat more than her. She claims I have two hollow legs.
  9. In my world it does. Sauvignon Blanc does make everything taste better. 😉
  10. Speaking only for myself, when I order an item like Mac n Cheese off the kids menu it has absolutely nothing to do with being tired or scared (😂) of the menu or not finding something appealing. It's all about getting something I like in addition to my selections that's not offered on the MDR menu.
  11. Agree. This morning I had my car serviced. The dealership always has drinks and tempting snacks. Don't tell anyone but I had two Pop-Tarts untoasted of course and a small OJ in a carton. Now would that be consider "adventurous". BTW, no little kiddies were harmed or injured during my quest. 😂
  12. We received the same style on our Summit September cruise in a standard balcony stateroom.
  13. At least the titles to some of these threads about some of the changes are getting more entertaining. 😁
  14. Difference is you payed your dues. BTW, we are RDINKs.
  15. Sorry. I had a lot of questions for the CC rep.
  16. Not loyal to any cruise line. Like anything we purchase, when there is no longer the value in it for us we move on.
  17. We like the broiled lobster tail served in the MDR but one lobster tail each is enough for us as we order the beef wellington to split.
  18. Once you are logged into RC website, click on the little circle that has your initials in it. On the next screen you'll see to the far right, "My Loyalty". Click on that and it will being up your CAS, CC and AC numbers.
  19. I just checked the MDR menu for our Apex cruise and nothing mentioned of an additional charge for a second lobster tail. We like the broiled lobster tail served in the MDR but one lobster tail each is enough for us as we order the beef wellington to split.
  20. Yes I do. Agree, there are always plenty of selections to choose from, even when certain items show up every evening. Like Breakfast in the MDR. I remember when RC tried substituting scallops for snails. That didn't go over big with Kathy. She got shrimp cocktail instead. Now don't screw with my Mac n Cheese from the kids menu! 🤣
  21. We'll adjust and I'm sure we'll still find something we like each evening. But we'll wait until the new menus are published fleetwide and we are actually having to make our selections, even if there isn't the good ole' classic standbys.
  22. You didn't say, "won't be offered everyday" in your post I responded to or I wouldn't have asked. I believe escargot will still be offered everyday but it will remain under the classics section (where it was on our March Explorer cruise) along with others possibly old favorite selections. The menu may also be different fleetwide. We have always found enough variety each evening not to get tired of the selections. Change isn't always the new and improved either. We'll decide for ourselves.
