  1. As long as they don't poo on my car. In Mevagissey one pooed on my brand new wetsuit. Blue it was...the wetsuit, not the seagull.
  2. If you are prepared to take some of the risk yourself, like missed port payout, try Total travel protection.
  3. Your quite right. Most chain restaurants are up 30-50%. Costa, McDonald, even greggs. Some of the smaller restaurants seem to be getting a bit greedy, but then wonder why less people are eating there. Fortunately we have a choice.
  4. We are looking to go to the Canaries in November....If the price is right. If Not Bournemouth.🤣
  5. It's their lack of education. They just won't do as they are told. A few chips we will be OK, won't it.🤣
  6. I think companies are trying to claw back the money that they lost during covid. We booked a TUI holiday in October last year. The price started dropping about 2 months out.
  7. We are going to Haven in July, just before the kids break up. 2 weeks later and a week is £2,000. They don't have any inside caravans.😂
  8. We are down to St Ives in a couple of weeks. Next week we will buy a few extra bits for the seagulls. The locals like you to feed them.🤣
  9. In MDR on Arvia there are pay extra items on the menu.
  10. How very true .I watched the Indy 500 over the weekend.
  11. We have never bothered locking our suitcases. If they can get into my computer, I doubt a 50p lock would tax their abilities too much. If they want my secondhand " undercrackers " they are welcome.🤣
  12. TBH, he needs to be told a few home truths about priorities.
  13. This year we gave in and purchased plastic tags. About a fiver online. I miss the old days . Sellotape that I couldn't find the end of ( don't cut the lable..fold it ). Stapler, staples ( got some somewhere). Screwdriver to dig the bent up staples out of the machine. Plaster for thumb ( the screwdriver slipped ). I do miss the old days.
  14. We go to warner regularly amongst many other types of holiday. I suppose I am in the P&O,Royal,NCL,Celebrity, TUI. BA,Haven, John Fowler, Hilton..... ...oh, can't be bothered Crowd. Isn't it tedious when folk think they can pigeon hole you into a particular " crowd " so,, what demographic am I in. I will in future try and avoid straying into an inappropriate Crowd.
  15. Very brave of you to admit to being one of the Warner crowd. Don't tell anyone, but we have had 3 this year and another in August. I suspect you are platinum, so get 15% off your OBC...oops..bill. We tend to book Warners fairly late so Sometimes miss out on our preferred dining times. We never book P&O early as deals often get better. We were on Arvia last month and booked everything that was available 14 days before sailing. That's the game, but cancel if you change your mind . Book loads when you board, then relax...all done.
  16. Great to see that you are cruising again and enjoying your time on board.
  17. I pay extra to ensure we sit together on flights £50 a seat. DW logs back on and pays £50 to sit somewhere else.
  18. I know that background. I attended some EU technical committee meetings. I got expenses back from Dti. I showed DW the form. It said status at meeting ' principle UK expert ' she said she didn't know the country was in that much of mess. I remember that when folk tell me how important they are....wrong demographic Gromit. 🤣
  19. Very kind of you MB, but I associate you with the toffs, not commoners like what we are.🤣🤣
  20. Perhaps P&O should do demographic analysis of their guests and apply that, through an algorithm to their guests. That way they could avoid us ' Warners holidays crowd ' being seated with civilised folk, who are Cunard Queens Grill, of first class people.
  21. Don't worry. Many threads end up singing the praises of Saga. They also have examples of the high cost of Saga.
