  1. Not good, but others seem to have it cracked. We were already in Malta and had a boarding time for Azura as anytime after 11.00am. We arrived about 20 past and had a choice of check in desks. On the ship in about 15 minutes, after a visit to the onshore duty free.
  2. TBH Kalos even the smaller ships take forever compared to Celebrity and RC.
  3. I don't think this is a particularly new phenomenon. We have spent many an hour,or so in the shed.
  4. He's probably playing bingo already. It was recommended. 🤣
  5. Absolutely. Don't hear much about it now anyway.
  6. We did a test before we flew to Malta to join Azura. That was just in case the rules changed at short notice. We normally take a couple of tests with us, just in case. I don't know what we would do if one was positive.
  7. Jean, I think the last time you cruised was pre covid. Forgive me if I'm wrong.
  8. You are quite right, but as we don't go to the captains lunch ,have never had room service , don't go to any lectures, only have lunch on board on sea days and then normally a quick lunch from the buffet, or on deck sitting around the pool, we didn't know about these cutbacks. Petit fours were nice. We have had 3 P&O cruises in the last 6 months and enjoyed them all. We are not new cruisers having had 35+ over the last 20 years. As long as we get what we paid for, not really bothered about drinks with the Captain.
  9. On Britannia in October we docked right by the dock gates in Cadiz.
  10. We have never had one in 35, or so cruises, so will take that chance.
  11. Being selfish and sympathetic to MB's plight, we have never had a noisy cabin , any noise normally stops when I get DW's elbow in my ribs. We normally get off early to go on a trip ,or if nothing planned, have a late breakfast and get off later. Palma sound like it was a fiasco, but Palma is never good. Food , entertainment, quality normally suits us. So although sorry for MB's bad experiences they probably won't stop us booking an Arvia cruise if the price and itinerary are right.
  12. Open mind. If one person has a bad experience, will these experiences bother me. We have never had a noisy cabin, so not an issue that concerns us.
  13. We always plan to try something else......but🤔 .
  14. DW was accosted by a drunk bloke. We got married I'm 1973. She forgave me eventually. 🤣
  15. I'm an ex rugby player myself. I played it more than once, but don't play in the casino.
  16. When we are on Majorca we will do our own thing and go to Soller. Bus to the station is only 2 Euro.
  17. We have been on 35. We don't go in the casino. Full of ex rugby players.
  18. The kids find Disney land enchanting
  19. Until a few months ago I didn't know anything about "Follow " 20+ years and I didn't know. I have now unfollowed. I may follow somewhere else to get their numbers up.
  20. Since lockdown ended we have been on Britannia x3, Iona, Celebrity Silhouette, Anthem and Azura twice. Although we enjoyed them all and overcame any slight issues, other folk didn't. Some will never, ever sail with P&O again. I tend to go with what we experience and tend to ignore heresay.
  21. Saga?...Virgin..? Pretty much the same aren't they?.
  22. If you have only ever cruised with P&O, trying an alternative would IMO, be a nice change for you. Changing because somebody else didn't like P&O is confusing.
  23. Did they mention the great bingo ripoff. Apparently 1.6m cruise critic members, but only 27,273 " follow ". About 15,000 a week cruise on P&O. Statistics are wonderous animals.
