We came that way coming back from Dorset on Thursday. It wasn't too bad, but the West bound traffic was a crawl.

We flew over it a couple of weeks ago, but doesn't look good. Poor old Italy at the moment.

I know that route Jean. Not the best roads are they. At least if the road gets blocked you can swing off on another road. On the Motorway, no way to turn round.

We go to all the Headliner shows. sometimes twice. We like the music from pulse and the visiting acts. The comedians less so, but will go and see them if they don't clash with anything else. We have no cruises booked until December, but may be able to fit one in ,perhaps October. Nothing I have seen on here will put me off booking P&O, nothing. There is an RC that interests us. Glad you enjoy the entertainment. I tend to ignore the secondhand criticism.

Interesting that anyone not agreeing with the negative posts must be wrong ,although ICF didn't experience the alleged massive queues and is happy so far .Valid and fair criticism should be...well...Valid and fair. IMHO.

We are fortunate that we have an alternative to the M3/M27. That's our plan for this summer for our trips to Dorset, or the New forest.

The accident happened a few minutes before we got to the scene we got through before the emergency services arrived. Those on the M3 behind us would have had to sit it out until the police put a diversion in place.

It seems that no news was good news in this instance.😁

The standard house entertainment can be a bit naff, but generally fairly entertaining, not always for the reason intended. We tend to go only go on the breaks with ' named entertainment . We saw Tony Hadley and a few acts that have been on P&O. Cricket is my favourite Warners, but DW prefers Bembridge. Enjoy part 2 of your road trip. You may still be lucky with the weather.

We have taken a few flights recently and have not encountered any abnormal queues. We breezed through twice in the midst of an immigration officials strike.

On our next Britannia cruise we have £700. That will just about cover our soft/alcoholic drinks and a few speciality meals. We won't bother with a package.

We used the M3 on Tuesday morning. There was a fatal accident just in front of us just after Winchester going South. I understand the Motorway was closed until late in the day for a police investigation. All very tragic. The police investigation will show a van ploughed in to the back of a broken down artic. Why shut the Motorway all day ?. I think the roadworks go on for 9 months.

I appreciate that, but on some cruise lines an 11.00am check in isn't unheard of. Having thousands if passengers arriving in a short space of time is asking for trouble. It may work with a couple of thousand, but obviously isn't on the big ships. The folk boarding last can't get the bookings they want, so it's unfair on them. It needs sorting. In Malta the planes aren't that spread out.
