As always, loved your review and Patty’s pictures ! I’m very excited to be cruising Venezia next year. Hubby wants to come in a few days early because he’s never been. Just finished cruise 16 and 17 with Carnival. Miracle is a great ship. She has a lot of charm! We are in our 50s (me) 60s (hubby) and have never found Carnival to be overly party party ships. If you hang out at bars, you will find drinkers. We drink but not much and have never found a place for quiet, or comedy, or movies, or sports or a party late at night up on the Lido. We actually run so much during the day that we go to bed fairly early at times and have no trouble sleeping. I think you will have a great time ! Enjoy your cruise !

Thanks all for the lesson on wording on my drivers license. I just meant it wasn’t the basic Ohio license. I had to provide either a passport or lots of paperwork to get the new license. As you can see, I use a passport to travel.

I agree…. I was very glad I did not pay for expedited.

No, no security clearance. Just a prior passport ( several actually). I do also have the enhanced Ohio Drivers license, where I submitted my passport and whatever else to get. 🤔

Speaking of passports… I have a Magic cruise in March and I needed to renew mine. I mailed my renewal on October 17. No expedited processing but yes expedited shipping. They cashed my check on October 24th. I received my passport today. I’m in Ohio and it went to Philadelphia.

If you have a PVP or you call Carnival, they can link the bookings together. Then when you go to check in, only one person has to do it, they can check everyone in for one table.

Oh Wow ! We haven’t been to Barbados or St Lucia since 2017 ! It looks like both have changed so much ! Our first trip to St Lucia ( been 4 times) we took a boat tour and on another trip we took a tour of the island. No sickness at all and what a beautiful island ! We too have been to the Boatyard several times. The water is amazing ! I long to go back to both these places ! If they don’t appear with Carnival, I will look elsewhere !

Still loving your review ! I love the jugglers ! Have you ever seen Manny Zuniga ? He was amazing in 2017 on Fascination. Ship was really rocking and he nailed it all…even the swords 😳 Looking forward to Barbados, one of my very favorite ports ! Jen

We did this cruise 4 years in a row and would do it again in a heartbeat. For us, flying to San Juan was always cheaper than Miami. Flying to Miami is a pain in the rear and expensive !

Just off Celebration for two weeks. Lots of photographers around, but not one was overzealous! If we said no thanks, they left us alone.

Just off Celebration and baseball was shown in the Pig & Anchor and Heroes Lounge area.

You are doing two separate cruises, not one long one. Yes, you need to do the online checkin for both cruises.

Yes, it was still available. I haven’t printed anything yet. Have a great cruise !

It’s all fixed now. I had to log out and back in and refresh a few times and voila..it showed everything completed and I can print my passes.

I appreciate the responses, glad I’m not the only one. John Heald just posted that they know about the problem. He will update when it’s fixed.

I should have said “arrival time” not boarding…

Hi, I am trying to check us in for our upcoming cruise and it is not asking me to pick a boarding time. Anyone encountering this ? It’s been a year since I’ve done this. Did they move it ?

They have nice cold draft beer as well as cans. They put them in on ice if you order them in a bucket.

Megan, I’m so sorry this happened to you. I would report it as well. This behavior can not continue on any ship. I would have cried too. Hugs !
