  1. Thank you for the reply. I am seriously considering This because I just can’t stomach $500 plus a night. We would come into the city and spend the day and head back when we’re done for the day. Same for the second day. Jen
  2. Hi ! Is this a good place to stay if we come in early and do want to sight see ? Their website says they are close to subway and attractions. Thanks 😊
  3. I’m slacking ! Page 10 ! Love this itinerary. Love Barbados and the Boatyard ! Have a great time !!
  4. We were on Celebration in October. There were 4 of us and we all thought Jill Kimmel was the worst comedian we’ve ever seen. Flat out not funny.
  5. I agree with the lines in MDR. People stand around and block the entrance. For me, I would like to see the bars able and willing to make any drink. On Celebration, I couldn’t get an amaretto sour at Latitudes or Bar 820. Hubby couldn’t get Thirsty frog red very many places. Too many bars that only make what’s on their menu. We really liked sitting at the tables by Latitude bar, there was quiet sometimes, music other times. Just a great place to sit, but you had to go elsewhere for a simple beer or drink.
  6. My experience on Celebration was different. I stood where the coffee line was and they waited on everyone sitting and left me waiting for 10 minutes. I think that bar hates making coffee and I never went back for coffee. Also, a different time, I asked for cans of Pepsi ( no bubbles pkg) and received glasses. When I stated I wanted unopened cans, they were not happy to have to redo. All this can be solved by a little sign …order coffee here 😜
  7. Schweppes is Pepsi’s ginger ale brand. You can get it here in the 12 oz cans. Not sure why they choose the small cans. I will carry it on with me, I like ginger ale.
  8. I think ginger ale is the only soda in a smaller can. I think they charge full price for it too ! I learned not to order ginger ale any longer.
  9. Good thing I live here and don’t have to stay in a hotel. Enjoy the concert !
  10. I guess I’m suffering from sticker shock. I appreciate the wake up call.
  11. I have been to NYC several times in the past. Hubby has not. Seeing some of the sights are very important. Subway was easy to use when I was last there, I’m sure it hasn't changed. Just need to find a clean cheaper place to sleep. Thanks !
  12. Conquest class is my favorite and Red Frog is a fun place to spend time. Looking to book Freedom or another of this class soon ! Thanks for the review !
  13. Loved Horizon ! Snuck a post Covid, extremely cheap Thanksgiving cruise on her in a Cove balcony. Looking forward to your tale !
  14. September 25-27 1 bed …. $200-300. Totally okay with the subway. Thanks
  15. We booked a cruise on Carnival next September and the hotel you recommended is $400+ a night. Any other recommendations for cruising and sightseeing. We’re thinking of coming in a few days early. Thanks Jen
  16. Another fun review. So glad you recovered quickly ! Merry Christmas 🎄
  17. I did last cruise. I bought $1200 with me. Grocery was offering 5x perks and it was saving me 10%. I only wish I had bought them in $100 increments so I didn’t have to deal with waiting on a gift card refund. I just put the small balances on my CC and brought home the leftover GC.
  18. As always, loved your review and Patty’s pictures ! I’m very excited to be cruising Venezia next year. Hubby wants to come in a few days early because he’s never been. That leaves me stressing over hotels and transportation…but not the ship ! Tell Patty thank you for her part in telling the story. Happy Sailing ! Jen
