    We were on Magic in May…no more food even the little nibbles…in Red Frog Pub. Not sure if it’s changed since then.

    It’s not silly to me, we cruise for Dive In theatre too. It’s our favorite thing to do in the evenings. We were on Magic in May. Many nights there were no movies, that was because of deck parties. I wish they would only do 1 deck party and more movies. We are headed out on Spirit soon and hopefully movies will be back !

    We did this itinerary 4 times in a row …St. Thomas, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and St. Maarten !! Oct. 2012 Victory, October 2014 Valor, October 2015 Liberty and March 2017 Fascination. Loved it so much. It’s been gone long before Covid. I would say it’s an issue with the Terminal or city. We would jump on it in a heartbeat !

    Ear plugs take care of almost every noise issue ! I never travel without them 😴

    We have had one twice…. Once it was friends and once it was strangers. You can hear some noise. Honestly, it’s not much different than no door. If you have quiet neighbors, it’s quiet. If you have noisy ones, it’s noisy.

    So, hubby has this offer on his Chase Freedom. When we try and buy a card on Carnivals website, it gives me a confirmation number. But then it sends an email saying the order has been cancelled. No where near his credit limit, so it’s not denied. Any guesses as to why this is happening ? I checked his card and no charges have appeared on the card.

    For us, flying in, we want to make the most out of it we can. Cruises go by so fast. I would book the 7 or 8 day !

    I enjoyed your review (and others) immensely ! I think there should be a “Willdra and W” cruise …. First come first served !! I would jump on it !! Edit to add: I have 4 currently booked…hint hint !

    You do get a discount on the Cheers package and the Bubbles package if you purchase before you cruise.

    It had my previous name from 10 years ago up until a few months ago. Then suddenly, it changed to my current name. My cruise documents were always correct, just not the website.

    Learning is good, it’s why I come here. We are in bed early as well. Try as hard as we can, we just can’t stay up late. Hubby starts work at 4 AM and we go to bed early and can’t seem to get out of that routine even on vacation ! Happy Cruising, just off the Magic and our next is the October !

    And my best friend is from Montreal Quebec and their norm is to eat late. When we cruise with them, we choose late seating. When we cruise alone, we choose YTD. I think it’s just personal preference. Like the poster above said, time zone differences make people eat at different times to sync with being home.

    We always cruise in October and I have been checking every day. Our flight was as high as $461. And the other day it was $387. I booked. The next day it was $367. I cancelled and rebooked. Now it is $491. Check every day…several times a day. Now I have to stop looking because I’m locked in. LOL

    We just got back from a cruise. We used Cruise Control and they were fantastic !

    I don’t think it’s cultural, we don’t eat that late either. I think it’s something they like to do.

    Just off Magic, our steward refilled our ice bucket twice a day with no commentary.

    In my post, I said that it wasn’t cruise ruining, so I didn’t say anything. He worked really hard in all other areas.
