Agree, was Rest/Bar Manager and I was tight. We always made our Liquor, Food and Labor Costs...my Bonus/Profit Sharing depended on it. Free Drinks, was a couple and they were gone

Common for few yrs on the Radiance Class I Booked, Insides/OV same or more then Balcony Cabins. During startup I was getting Balcony Cabins for $50-70 a Day, this with my SOLO 340+ Discount. OV/IN were lot higher

Nope, nothing new. When Ships run 108%+ Capacity prices go up. When my Kids were young we could only Cruise Sept-Oct and Jan-Feb. A typical Royal Cruise then in Summer time $799-999 each for first 2, $1099-1399 for Passenger 3-4. This in an OV Cabin. Cruises I Booked last yr for this yr have doubled in price as Ship's are almost sold old. Full Ship, and with Inflation prices are up like everything/everywhere else

OK, it's too bad. Royal Ships I been on they do make you sign for each free Drink. Lists number available rest that day, 6, 5, 4, 3.. as you get them

Were they charging/giving Free Drink with someone you are traveling/sitting with? Don't think really a common issue, know never happens to me... Just pay atten every time you sign slips, look at free count and save them

When did Full Canal on Serenade last Fall was watching the Mules almost constantly adjusting Tension in/out on the Cables. Thought same, though rare it might snap... Took us lot longer get threw end to end then you did today, was pitch Black when we got done and we started hrs earlier in am. Funny thing I mentioned before was only 13 days from LA to Tampa and we adjusted Clocks 8 times! This for Time Zones and to match Port Stops. When Radiance returns San Diego to Tampa this Oct it's longer at 16nites for us but only 5 Port stops

Agree, no overhang/protection compared to any other Cabins in Middle Aft from Sun/rain. Spent 250+ nites in this Cabin on Brilliance, Serenade and Jewel with another 70 in next 18months. I love Cabin myself, Quiet, nobody walks past Cabin as its in Corner off the Halls and I'm a Sun Worshiper. If in Carib when Sun shines on it have keep curtains shut as Air Conditioner cant keep up... Edit: Must been partial issue with seal but one Cruise raining so hard against my Balcony door my Carpet got wet from Door to edge on my Bed. Had a Blower drying it for 3 days, but FCC received was equivalent of 6+ days worth. We were in Port and was hardest rain I ever experienced on a Cruise

Nope, several times with 3 Kids and 2 parents we had one Kid assigned with Grand Parents. Though all 5 us stayed and slept in our OV Cabin.

On Cruises different times in past had US Jets Buzz us in Caribbean. One was 2 F-14's and was right after Top Gun came out in 80's. Other time was a F-16 flying low and loud. Third time happened when a B-2 flew over our Ship during Air Show at Ft Lauderdale, that was 20+ yrs ago. Had a low flying B-29 go over my home right before Covid, now that was pretty Kool!

Hit and miss, many times it's only offered closer to sailing. Booking my Cruises 18-24 months out of 6-8 Cruises a yr I might get Military Disc 1/3 the time. During startup was offered lot more. Had some Cruises where it got me $600-1100 off, then with C&A Disc's it really added up on a couple cruises. Most time only a few hundred but I'll take it.

Depends on State I guess. Have had Enhanced DL for yrs that used for my Open Loop Cruises for a Decade. It's a Michigan EDL, was several months from Expiring, didn't have Star on it and was here in Arizona. Went ONLINE last Spring, applied for new one, received within a week. They added another 4yrs to Expiration just used my old pic that will be 8yrs old by time I get my next new one. So much for Enhanced Security

Few yrs ago Celeb ran a special $20 Deposit and NCL ran one for $50 had Booked on 16n Panama Canal. Had to cancel Celeb's 2019 cruise due to Mom's med issues and I became her caregiver for next 2yrs. Then NCL Cruise was canceled CV Shutdown
