  1. Thanks for posting the drink menus 👍. I’ve looked through and can’t see a Malbec listed in the Plus package. Does anyone know if there is one?
  2. Our kids have been on every one of our cruises and now they are both at university, they still want to come along - maybe it’s because they still aren’t paying for themselves 😏. One day they may just pay for us 🤞 😄.
  3. We do like that the International Cafe serves savoury items as well as cakes etc., which is a little different to Cafe al Bacio on X.
  4. I kept getting the same response so reset my password. I then logged on and all the details were for my DH’s account 🤷‍♀️. No idea why that happened, but I’ve just left it as I can’t be bothered with the constant IT issues. We’re still having problems setting up the medallion on the App; seem to get one thing resolved and then something else goes wrong.
  5. Look forward to reading your observations in a future post. Thank you for answering my questions.
  6. Anything good, bad, indifferent to report back about Enchanted? Are they serving Afternoon Tea in the MDR? Is the buffet self-service - can’t remember if it’s changed from the waitstaff serving? Hoping you’re having a great cruise.
  7. You’ll find X and Princess are more similar than different.
  8. Thanks. We’ll try onboard and see what they say 👍.
  9. Can you purchase FCD for other Princess cruisers whilst you are on a cruise but they aren’t e.g. can you gift them a FCD?
  10. When are you sailing? I’m hanging on for as long as possible to book LFTs after the CDC announcement earlier this week, thinking that Princess may follow the other cruise lines and disregard proctored pre-testing from this side of the Atlantic 🤞.
  11. I’m really hoping it’s before then as we sail the end of August 🤞. Gayl, I’ve just realised you are getting on as we are getting off - just missing each other.
  12. I remember you getting that deal on Reflection and many others over the years.
  13. After reading this, I’ve realised this may be the issue we’re having with our kids’ information not being accepted on the app for a CC payment method onboard. I’ll give it a try with just a bunch of numbers in the postcode box. Is it 5 digit numbers for US zip codes (I’ll need to put the correct amount of digits in)?
  14. Are you enjoying the ship and is she sailing full? TIA.
  15. After we have entered all the card details on the ‘Payment Method’ screen, an error message appears stating they are ‘invalid card details’. We did exactly the same for our cabin on the app and it went through with no problems.
  16. Having problems putting in my DH’s CC details on my kids’ cabin through the app. Does anyone know if it’s because the lead name for the cabin is different to the CC details? I’m sure we did this on a previous cruise with no problems. Any help appreciated. TIA.
  17. For us too. I can still remember being woken by the morning call when we stayed in our hotel prior to boarding - lovely rooftop terrace for breakfast. Thanks for the review, OP 👍.
  18. Do any of the balcony cabins have a sofa, or is that only in a mini on Island?
  19. Slightly off topic, but what did you think of Enchanted? Any highlights on the cruise?
  20. No, it is open for the OP’s cruise as we are on the same sailing 👍.
  21. You would be hard pressed to find many masked individuals here any longer (unsure what it’s like in the capital but I expect it to be similar to the rest of the UK).
  22. Yes, and before you say, no, I personally wouldn’t go into work if I tested positive but I do know of some employers who expect their staff to, unless they are incapable because of symptoms.
  23. True, but there is no law preventing them doing this and so no requirements to do so. You can go to work over here if you test positive as it’s only a recommendation to stay at home for 5 days. Some may say that if they can go to work with Covid and are expected to, then they can go on holiday/vacation with it too. I’m not saying it’s okay, just pointing out the thought process of some passengers. All around you there are positive cases that you are unaware of, and some don’t even know themselves that they are positive - it makes no difference as you can catch it off either category; I think that’s dreaminofcruisin was highlighting.
  24. I read your post and I was referring to the other cases that you mentioned (the longer cruise examples). If anything, the staff have to contend with this, cruise after cruise - it’s the nature of the beast when so many different people are in close contact. Then it starts all over again with the next group of cruise passengers.
