On the Coral during a Panama canal cruise in 2018 there was a book discussion & they gave out about 20-25 copies of a book & picked a day to meet & discuss the book. It was a great idea & was well attended!

Love the Coral, great cruise!

Shuttle from Port to FLL Airport-WAITLISTED?
daydreamer16 replied to CruiserKris34's topic in Celebrity Cruises
It's a very short ride to FLL from the port, like 15 minutes early in the morning. -
I had orthopedic surgery back in March. The next day my sodium level dropped significantly & my electrolytes were very abnormal & I had to stay another day. The first thing they gave me was 3 small cans of tomato juice (so full of sodium) & 2 bags of potato chips! This was ordered by the renal team as they were finishing up with another patient. Once I finished a bag of chips & 2 cans of juice they gave me the sodium tablets which I took for another 2 weeks. Do you like tomato juice, just saying😀 Denise

We were in Aqua on Millie for an Asia cruise. For us blu is the main benefit of Aqua, nice sea views and a more intimate dining experience. Hope you enjoy!

Which ship will be on? We love blu when we sail in aqua for breakfast & dinner!

Yup, know what your talking about. I did my DNA 5 years ago to see how Irish I was, since every time I'm in Ireland I seem to look like someone who lives down the road. I knew my grandparents were born there. So I discovered that the man who I though was my father, was not & my mother had a short relationship with a man who lived around the corner in NYC! I'm glad I found out because my non biological father died of colon cancer at 46 & I had to have a colonoscopy every 3 years because of it. Now I don't! By the way 97% Irish 3%Scotish! Denise

I'm pretty sure most Americans say "quay" with a q sound. In Belfast back in 2019, we were driving around looking for our hotel which was near the river & address said Quayside. Having phone problems & no map we asked people in the street & no one knew what I was talking about. Finally I showed the address to a woman & she said, you mean "keyside"! At the hotel I was asked if we had trouble finding the hotel I mentioned the word Quayside & she said it's a french word, but I mean we're not in France! LOL Looking forward to your report on the Edge, we board, March 13th! Thanks for all the great info! Denise

So it depends on how your recovery goes. I had knee replacement this past March and I had a very good recovery. I stayed in the hospital 2 nights & followed everything my doctor & PT said to do. In May at 9 weeks I took a flight to Texas to visit family. I did ok with the flight & car rides, it was a relatively easy trip. I still iced my knee several times a day while I was there. I don't think your crazy, I live in NY & so I get the cold thing🤣 Denise

Yes, I did but I was hoping for natural hot springs. Great Barrier island sound interesting but it's all off grid. I was hoping for a resort type of stay, or a day trip. Thanks for your help.

We will be taking a Celebrity cruise to New Zealand in March. Then we are spending 10 days in Australia & then back to NZ in early April. We have 5 days in Auckland prior to a South pacific cruise. Are there any hot springs that are good for a day trip from Auckland or even an overnight that we could do via public transport? Many thanks!

New to Princess with plenty of questions....
daydreamer16 replied to hasentreelake's topic in Princess Cruises
We did the canal on the Island in 2015 from Florida to CA & then the Coral, in 2019 from California to FL. It was a great experience seeing & touching the original locks. Both cruises, we were in the most aft cabin on deck 8 Emerald. We were so close to the side of the lock that we could reach over the rail from our cabin & touch it! From those cabins you have a bit of a view of the wake too!
