  1. Think the Restaurant Brrachina offers a holding service for a small fee. Was $5 per suitcase. Drop in the morning, sightsee, good lunch and a taxi to Airport.
  2. Every beach that’s walkable, or has a $5/10 cab ride radius will be deemed extremely popular. So, to avoid “popular” a $20/30 fare is required. Select from the start point of say North of Sandy Lane
  3. Inside photo…. Seating and standing for luggage… Airport…Alight at the start…Place Luggage and take seats for journey
  4. You’ll be surprised how many actually do the trip with luggage multiples…..
  5. If on a budget…. Public Express Bus…. Drop off 100 yards from Cruise Terminal Entrance. https://www.athensairportbus.com/en/timetable/x96airporttopiraeusport.html Ticket price: There are only one-way tickets and cost 6.00 €. Children under 6 years can travel free. Half price tickets at 3,00 € are available for: Students upon showing their Student Card (University ID) plus Passport or ID People of age 6 to 18 years old People older than 65 years when showing their ID To find out which bus is the most useful for you check the route descriptions on the Homepage and follow the liks to see the timetable and the map of the route.
  6. If travel is price sensitive, then consider a day rental of a minivan from one’s local home outlet with an office and representation in STM

  8. Brewers Beach… More genteel…. Beautiful views….. Long, long beach…Plenty of space to spread out…. Some natural shade…... Good snorkelling around rocks in front of bar…. Possibility to sight Tarpon ….Watch Pelicans dive towards end of day…..
  9. Royal Sonesta Ocean Condado Club Fairmont Marriott Stellaris Caribe Hilton Vivo https://www.resortpass.com/cities/San-Juan-903
  10. Welcome home “CUNARDER”… Get well soon… Never too early to start planning one’s next Cunard Voyage. CC is ready, willing and able to support
  11. Thanks for the clarification, but OP threaded under Dominica, not Dom. Rep.. This is where the confusion began.
  12. Wow, this is new to me….. Thanks for the H/up…. Many on CC would be interested, as it would be just a short walk from the ship. What part of Roseau did they demolish to construct a pool, then rename it?

Correct Novana Studios… https://navonastudios.com Never stayed there, but trusted cruise buddies have and they have repeated bookings. PS The same people book Convents and Monasteries in Rome, for the same reason as Novana. Simple, clean, reasonably priced. It suits them well.
  14. One’s original driver will be very pleased to be booked for the return. Just confirm the time, plus they usually arrive earlier to give the pax peace of mind.
  15. Because only licensed (vetted) taxi drivers with fully insured vehicles, are allowed through security at the Port gates. In addition, only licensed taxis are permitted to deliver a fare inside the secure port area.
  16. This number of pax changes the ride costs. The Taxi (Cab/Saloon) now become a minibus. There are plenty of minivans at port to take one’s party, sadly have no idea of cost. The busy main arterial road from/to Town runs past Toppers, so there will be plenty of minibuses passing, just flag one heading to town, but Toppers will call a known local reputable (licensed) one if asked. Toppers will confirm the agreed price and driver name etc.. Again no idea of cost. As a very rough guesstimate think $15 per pax would possibly be close to an actual fare to Toppers and $10 pp from Toppers to Town. Do not use an unlicensed carrier. Bandit territory.
  17. This agenda all revolves around what booking times are available for the Rum Tour. Hopefully one will achieve an early one. To assist. Say $25 from Terminal to Toppers Walk to Bakery is about 100 yards from Toppers Taxi back to Town for Lunch etc say $20 Taxi to Maho say $30 Taxi back to ship say $35 No shortage of Taxis…..
  18. Plus a Cornucopia of various creams, gels, wax, sprays, crinkles etc., etc…. Basically anything that will be used or possibly could be used is packed.
  19. Apologies…. Just came across this by accident. Small hairdryer in dressing table drawer and shampoo, also conditioner are supplied. But DW takes onboard her preferred brand of shampoo and conditioner. Plus a salon quality hairdryer complete with attachments and two gas powered hair brushes. Hope this assists.
  20. Or, take a beach break to Nevis with Blue Water https://bluewatersafaris.com/tour/nevis-beach-getaway/ Probably take one to the beach bar called Lime, with chairs and shade, sometimes a free rum punch. But, just short walk down the beach is “Sunshires”. Sit at the bar, sip a few “Killer Bees”. Which is deceptive rum punch, thinking this is very easy drinking, let’s have another one, repeat and repeat. Then after a few Killers, one opens one’s eyes and say to oneself “Why am I sitting in the back of a Police Van?” Sunshine has a bottles of this famous brew for a takeaway. Also, T’erd free…
  21. Too many time eating variables…… Fly late A genteel disembarkation, take drinks and a good lunch at https://www.barrachina.com, then a relaxed cab ride and check in. Barrachina will securely look after luggage.

Okay, then take a Guest House for 2, with more savings to splurge.

Personally, would not stay at either of @njhorseman suggestions. If it’s just for one night pre-cruise, consider a Guest House, such at Novana and the like, simple, clean, comfortable and in OSJ, then use the savings as a good contribution to splurge on La Concha post cruise.
