Ship Tours are usually relegated to second/thirds ranks in strictly regulated blocks. KS is not the easiest beach to enter from the sea, drop off/soft sand. If not arriving early as a private guest, to select position, move beds etc (gratuity appreciated), then consider looking elsewhere. But the bar food is good and generous.

Thank you, as it confirms that those not being active for a short period are automatically logged off. Until this post, one thought because Cunard were charging per day, regardless of activity, once logged in one stays connected to the server/internet.

Important messages do still arrive, as the down times are very short but annoying to Cunard. For something of great import, one has always telephoned the ship, being put though to the stateroom, not leaving it to any inconsistency of Email. Once, the stateroom was unoccupied, so had a ship announcement made while one held.

Interesting posts. It appears the only resolution to the current Cunard Internet woes would be for the “purchase” system to revert back to the per minute use/pay. But Cunard would only consider to do this if complaints reach saturation point at GS or the whole system collapsed. One now will do one’s bit. On the QM for Canada in September and one used to send the occasional email and photographs to friends and family as requested. But from now on it will be sending regular mega videos and downloads to deliberately assist in draining the system. Who will join in?

Barbados in town centre markets areas after dark = Stay in a group. No bling, no expensive clothing, no credit cards, no expensive phones or cameras, minimum cash in pockets and if holding a small wad hide away from sight in a restricted access position. Best to take a dinner/drinks sunset cruise. There are selections with times between 3 and 5ish hours. Remember you get the experience one pays for. If one wishes to sail Cunard and the price is ‘X’, then so be it. One gets the cruise on one’s line of choice. Not interested in per diem, size, extras or ‘Ow Mooch?’ comparisons.

Well said! One selects to cruise Cunard, regardless of price, albeit £1000 or £2000 more expensive, because one feels comfortable there. Also, booking Cunard goes a long way to eliminate the potential for any disappointments. It’s one’s money therefore it’s one’s choice.
