  1. Writing this from Princess Cays. All is well. I slept like a brick but was awakened at 9:30 by the captain’s announcement from the hallway about the delay in departures to Princess Cays. Quick trip to the bathroom…no flush. I heard the steward in the hallway and he called a plumber. After 10 minutes it flushed on its own. We are very careful about not putting anything extra in the toilet. Plumber was going to see if another cabin is creating the problem, fingers crossed that it was a one time event. Oh and the steward left these little friends for us. Back to enjoying the Bahamian breeze.
  2. So nice to meet you! And very glad that you were able to secure your beds in the Sanctuary. Hope to see you during the week be it at Outriggers during sailaway or around the ship!
  3. I listened to a Princess webinar today and among other things they discussed the changes to the packages. Thought this slide with the codes might be helpful in case others run into agents unclear on how to upgrade. (Standard = the old Saver as in fare only).
  4. Thank you for asking. I had suspected that we would be close to full capacity next week and you have confirmed it! Glad you had a nice day at the beach. Enjoy the rest of your cruise.
  5. Princess website has not changed and it remains 3 days for those up to date on vaccinations ( for USA with caveats about Canada). The update has the new upload features. If you plan to use the app onboard you might want to update it. If not you may simply want to show your documents at boarding which might be what they will do for everyone anyway since this feature is so new. Bingo. The rules for testing timelines on the Princess website haven't changed since May 11th. We tested yesterday for a cruise departing this Saturday. Tried to upload results yesterday and earlier today but the button was disabled. Now we are within 48 hours of boarding and the button has been enabled. All of our documents have been uploaded and show as pending review so we are all set.
  6. The 48 day verbiage on the Medallion seems to refer to when you can upload the results of your test. I say that because I am roughly 51 hours from sailaway and that button is still disabled. I'll try again in 3 hours to see if it is enabled. And our vaccination documents that we previously uploaded still show the document pending approval language so I'm assuming that this is something that will be validated at the port. ETA: Thinking that the 48 hour tracks before the boarding time. I tried to upload the Covid test result earlier today and it was disabled but was allowed to do it now for both of us. We are still in the Green land but the health documents section shows an exclamation point as they haven't been approved yet. Still thinking that is something that is validated at the port...
  7. Have you heard how many passengers they are expecting on the next sailing? Enjoy your day in Cozumel.
  8. Oh I agree 100%! I will continue to follow this until our cruise on the Discovery in July but unless there is something definitive we will probably do the rapid antigen test two days prior to cruising just in case.
  9. I've read reports that they are enforcing the 72 hour requirement instead of 3 days for PCR for cruises stopping in Victoria when embarking in Seattle. This is the language currently on the Princess website re: Canada:
  10. @Tak8 or anyone else onboard - would you mind asking Passenger Service (or crew chat) how many guests are expected to be onboard next week? Inquiring minds want to know LOL. Thanks!
  11. If you're up to date the North American requirements are 3 days for both - provided you're not going to Canada.
  12. Interesting. I just tried to search for cruises on all three of the ships that aren't yet in service and the Sapphire and Coral show as unavailable too. I can find cruises for the other ships. Either the pricing for those itineraries are being updated last or there's more changes to come for these ships.
  13. I see pricing for two of my saved cruises. Of course whatever happened in the last couple of weeks that has meant that I can only check one saved cruise in a session is still happening. But when I closed out that window and open up another I could see pricing for the second saved cruise.
  14. I think that's something you'll need to ask them. Note that I updated my original answer to add the chat and contact us options. If they have a July cruise you may want to try chat first as that is quicker, and then if that doesn't solve it move on to the phone option. Contact us may take too long.
  15. Where on Dolphin deck was your cabin?
  16. You'll need to call them to merge accounts. There's no way you can do this yourself. In my case they added the older cruises to the new CC number but I don't know how they are handling it these days. ETA: You can also give Chat a try, or under Contact Us choose these selections:
  17. We are considered "up to date" on our vaccines so it's 3 days prior for us. Here's the verbiage from the Princess website.
  18. The language about requiring masks in the casino and Princess theater have been removed. Screen shot below pertaining to masks but they also formalized smoking again being allowed in the casino, allowing tests to be done 3 days prior to embarkation in some situations, along with other changes.
