on the old liners, most cabins were quite spartan..luckily my family was able to score a double porthole view with all beds on the floor..no bunks!

I'd rather book AQ Class with BLU and thermal suite area..but Retreat was fun once in our cruise lifetime..used up our Covid cancellations accrued fccs

Do you really believe anyone on Celebrity is actually in steerage clsss..? Some older ships could be retired or fully refurbished, but in our opinion Celebrity is certainly not in the bottom end of cruise lines. We still enjoy it!

Don't leave children with strangers.... The cruiseline has a duty to check these caretakers more carefully!

We are booked on Ascent and Apex but looking forward to s short cruise on Silho..Want to see if might be a better fit for us going forward..has some nice Specialty restaurants

Retreat fell short of expectations but we are waiting to see where she goes in the future. She was quite pampered on MSC..they know when influencers with many followers are on their ships..!

on the ship we are cautious...always! Labadee had an issue w a stolen cell phone at the beach area when we were there yrs ago. They closed the exit for awhile. A band member turned himself in.. phone was recovered.. On Royal C our son law had his new camera stolen on Oasis while playing a party game. He put it down and it disappeared . He and my dtr were treated like they were the thieves while their room was searched (consensually) by security before they would take a report.. Very bad .... considering he was cop and she an atty. Hope we never have to make such a report!

St Kitts has quite a bit to offer aside from tourist places..and port stores with items made in China..We have acquired some nice crafts and artwork. But, we have been all around St Kitts and hope Nevis will be a nice experience. I am going to be watching a 3 hr program (for work) that compares Hamilton's bio with the Broadway show which I did not see. Sounds interesting..

DAY TRIP TO NEVIS WITH LUNCH I do not have the Celeb excursion no. It was $325.98 for 2 of us. Pricey! we did not check for any sales! My notes say it is a 6 hr excursion on a ferry type boat. Includes craft stalls, lunch at a beach restaurant ( with bthrm) .. sorry no more info

We are signed up for a similar excursion on the Ascent in January, ..but I believe it involves a tour (?) and a diff lunch.. I will look at our paperwork and post the details. We have never been to Nevis and are looking forward to it.!
