I would want to make sure all the rooms are functional... On M class it is an interior space. no views, .no loungers but a warm shared curved bench.. If the rooms are good and the showers work, it's worth it if you use it!

omg.. that's awful..what was the itin? had this happen at a conference in a 5 star hotel.. my room was moved and lucky no critters came home..it was all kept hush hush! i check best U can but hard to detect..we keep our luggsge wrapped in plastic dry cleaner bags.. to jeep little buggers out

Congrats! Don't be shy about letting Retreat, Luminae, attendants, Cap Club etc know this is a special celebration...I expect they will go out of their way to make it fabulous snd memorable!

why not just let it go rather than add more unless one grandparent chsnges their mind did they initially agree and reneg? then they should pay the loss can they move to a later date if they might feel up to it?

This has been an eye opener for me! That boy/teen Ryan on U tube must be a gazillionaire by now..every kid watched his " adventures" The last gen had kids who wanted to make it big in music as djs..and then as producers. How many really hit it big! When we first cruised, we relied on our Trvl agent for advice and ship info..Now that we are pretty familiar with most of the X ships (some only pre reno) we do our own research. In my view, anyone who receives perks or cruises in exchange for a positive review would be possibly non- objective, thus a less valuable resource. NOW..Back to the main review.!

We share your point of view. We were in a SS on Beyond before the Butler changes..( used up all our fccs ) It was nice to try but we too are headed back to AQ Class, then Concierge and then an SV. The room itself was nice and large but we are better suited to standard service, and can take care of ourselves and what we need fairly well! Early boarding out of Port Ev had limited seats, no snacks... just drink and soda , and was a disorderly free for all when we were cleared. Priority disembark was abt the same. We were crowded in a small area..with guards at door b/c many tried to sneak or bs their way in. It was good to get off the ship first but it was also a mad race. Our Butler was over attentive, so we felt less privacy. And no one told us what goodies other than drinks were in the Retreat Lounge.. We did not like Luminae.. we prefer BLU menu, food, atmosphere and service. Retreat pool was crowded except for port days when we were able to enjoy. Glad we tried it..but esp now not worth it for us to pay a higher fare..

that's a very bad change! we liked it when we could pre reserve.. we eat early so no issues anticipated for us, but its more like a food court concept now! no seats nearby to wait if there's a line

hope for feedback about Sr officers party in EDEN... hope it is not crowded and a special event!

We have not been to Japan but a recent cruise review with lots of photos makes that a good candidate for any short list. it was clean, beautiful and cruiser friendly I will look for the link..

others on the thread an help u post pics..but much depends on the type of wifi plan you have. If I learned how.. just about anyone can! Enjoy your cruise!!!!

another thought... so when multiple people on CC mention or link to a u tube video , as sometimes happens, they are enhancing that person's potential profits if people link to it? For awhile there was the same one over and over...hmmm!?

sorry, I am from a much diff generation & was sad when I had to give up the flip phone! but I learn alot just by reading cruise critic.. I know my friend' s grandson was into watching a young boy on u tube who became a big star.....ho hum!

live and learn I was unaware of this "profit motive" by U tubers. Do they actually get paid? ( I mostly use U tube for music and kiddie stuff for my grands!) I generally do.not watch these videos . The few I have seen are poorly done, way too long and often boring. Just the viewpoint of someone I do.not know. .We only watch informational posts by the cruise line and real guests on U tube. Cruise critic has many experienced cruises whose reviews we trust because we actually know them or have followed them for a long time..like Georgia!

how often was ur window locked closed? was it raining? you seem to have alot of anger abt this cruise..which was less than perfect. hope your next one is more to your liking..

most kids/ teens where we are ( NY & Fl) wear the sunguard swim sets: tops and bottoms Adults also wear in Fl for beach, pool and boating.. easy to rinse out and quick dry..compared to a water soaked cotton tee..whaever works !
