we're taking an X excursion to Nevis which includes lunch..never been there before. we have been to Carabelle batik, the fort , walked the town, private resort , beaches.. lunch at port area. little craft area at end of shops..never did the train and we avoid the photos with monkeys..ugh! all depends on your taste.. love this port..

Other than some suites and family staterooms, How many cabins can support 4 in room..the daybed is bad enough for 1! No idea about overhead bunks.

We were happy we had Gibraltar as a port.. too much work to keep track and get VAT back! I bet many people just let it go!

Unless Celebrity managers will receive and utilize these stats..not sure of its use... Folks not liking X right now will feel validated. Others will see flaws in the methodology, sample etc. Reviews, feedback and posts are what we go by esp from "trusted" Cruise Critic posters. And hopefully we will soon have our turn. Does make for interesting conversation..!

quality of the meat, preparation or both? can only do so much if the product is inferior...

sometimes an officer will join you for coffee and conversation in Cafe Baccio... up to our last cruise, officers were out and about on the central area decks overooking martini bar area..esp on chic nights and many would stop to chat

Gee, I only reported what the news reported ..which did not blame the victim in any reports I saw...You obviously have made a deeper study of the incident. We avoid places that could be problematic for any reason. including.ethnicity, being citizens of US or otherwise. As a conservative dressing older woman with big breasts, I was aggressively touched quite roughly ( and unnecessarily) by a female security person at the Rome boarding gate. I just had to let it go but it was an abuse of authority!

Interesting mix of activity and sales focused events. Looks like enough to be as busy or lazy as one prefers! How is the music on board aside from any shows? We enjoy the groups and duos...usually located at different areas each day and evening.

I think after reviews like this we are starting to see a very big diff between Sky Suites and the upper levels..Seems that's the X plan going forward . Not sure we could afford that but others might see it as a future way to go ...

Agree this is a great thread! Another reason to go is that it's also nice to meet and chat with the Cap Club rep who is usually present. somedays we have an early bkfst, and then go for coffee and a danish. Very relaxing!

Was there a diff offer or no offer at time the TA cancelled you? You said you e mailed them you wished to cancel so apparently that's what they did. Looking back when Covid began to affect cruising we jumped the gun & cancelled an east coast US cruise (Charleston /Bermuda) before Celeb itself cancelled the cruise. We received a partial refund and a partial fcc....and nothing for the trvl ins cost. Those who waited longer did better with full refunds, but the added stress of maybe cruising and catching Covid was not worth it at the time. Timing is everything!

Great post of the Elite lite bkfst choices. Thank you Cruisestich Love the smoked salmon platter, berries, cheeses. Bellini for me, espresso for my husb.. Would be nice if they added hard boiled egg and toasted Eng Muffin to the selections...but happy as is!

some categories gain higher point awards per night.. and some do the program, where u get points for watching videos, etc ( Power Up) ? We are not involved with that but there are threads that explain it. link below

seems u read my mind..re ASCENT. we might try to have lunch at Gran Bistro on boarding day and use the E plus discount. It is pricey but we enjoy the menu.. Much depends on boarding time and when it opens! We have dinner booked at Fine Cut, so maybe we will save the treat for another day

Thanks for posting..makes one able to compare the menus.. Looks nice, but I don't see anything that would cause us to switch to Carnival! Extra charge for upgrades...just like x. For us , the Cruise is a total experience..ship, itin, dining and clientele.
