some posts are off topic.. We are waiting for posts about the extra pay sammies and if there is a noticeable impact on the EDEN CAFE in any way.

not a big fan of beef but we like flank steak grilled and sliced as shown...juicy and very tender . Not sure how it would work for mass dining.

big diff..where are these suite located?

thank you.. nothing that would entice me.. I would prefer the regular offerings for free if they are still the same....or take out from the Cafe Bistro for upcharge....or make a big bowl at the buffet. just hope it wil still have free food and cookies

Thanks for posting.. What were the 3 choices and prices? The cooking area is very small so whatever is served can' t too elaborate or it will have to be delivered there. Hope those who.order these post photos and reactions.

Is there a start date for the UPCHARGE options at EDEN Cafe or is it just a floated idea?

We are more interested in feedback about X than comparisons to.other lines. .We have bookings on Ascent( BLU, Eden, Fine Cut... and Rooftop Grill ), APEX Sv ( 4 mdr) and SILHOUETTE ..concierge. If we go on another cruiseline..most likely it will be Cunard.

it was our mistake booking it..It was out of Miami and over the Easter school vacation. Easter was early that yr, and we did not realize it when we booked..Bad demographics...many large family groups (and our poor dtr had to have the holiday with relatives back home) There were too many children and teens running wild, and some of the adults were kind of rough too ..pushing others at the table sales on the ship! Memorable..not in a good way!

what classes? cabin would have the mat.. bands? but not sure we ever had free classes7

we bring our own ..but have not yet tried the cans

those are nice.. my favs are the ones for Halloween cruises.. least fav ones have photos ..esp young kiddos..but I am very security minded!

on one of our Royal C cruises poorly supervised children..swiped and mixed up many room service request cards. (fun for them?) After that we could only order by tel. same gen group poured choc syrup onto the art auction from above, damaged sculptures in the adult only pool area..rode the elevs all day.. Royal C could not or would not take control and parents were mia! usually a better atmosphere on X but things may be changing.

we used to enjoy putting out a Cruise Critic Sign..they could be downloaded and printed. You could add the date of the roll call Conections Party ( if enough signed up on the roll call) Dont think this is happening currently?

trans pacific and asia are not the average itin on X I think a better itin to track Zs would be across the Atlantic..where it appears many Zeniths enjoy the sea days on the crossing.

although it might be nice, we would not pay an added fee plus grat....money grab ..a la carte cruising. they used to have cooking and baking demos with free samples..no extra charge!

I think the Cekeb tranportation is a good idea..It's not that close to the port. That On Your Own will make sure you get back on time! You will have time to do your own thing..sightsee, shop, lunch etc We went on a full guided X tour. It becane a bit boring so we let the guide know we were going off to lunch and would meet the group in time for the bus Others did the same..on our own wouldd have been great!

if the sound by the railing area is an issue or a table is not in a good location we will politely ask for another spot..no advance grats and no one holds out their hand for one. .. grats goes on our cruise bill and cash is given at end oc cruise, if service was very good. Extra tip is given at bars for drink servers.

Recently, I saw a blurb online or somewhere that DELTA AIr..( which we do.not use) was "walking back" cutbacks to lounge use for its freq flyer program. .Was not paying attention but it does show that Customers may have a voice..???

a jacket and tie not needed to dress in chic style..flip flops and sweatpants need not apply!
