This thread is bringing out some very sad personality traits.. Esp among self titled fantasy VIPS. Truth is When most cruisers get home, they make their own beds, shop for groceries, cook and do laundry.

I recall that about IAINs musical history.. The shows we saw on our short cruise on QM 2 were outstanding..and we loved the classical quartets.. but don't dare whisper..you will be shushed! We just ordered tickets for the Sarasota Ballet in Dec.. a very nice combo presentation at the old Opera House. We are basically rock and rollers but appreciate and support the arts!

diff tastes.. variety is good After many cruises on X , we were so unhappy with the crowds, constant din, & shared tables in the MD. Then X introduced BLU.. It was and is a great fit for us.. sometimes the experience was better than others but always something we like. .Have noticed photos of food swimming in sauce and gravies recently, but we will order sauce on the side on ASCENT . Hope BLU is not ruined or diverted from its clean cuisine original concept. BLU did have a bad location..bad view, drapes always closed & poor acoustics on EDGE (which may have been remedied,) It was excellent on BEYOND.. and much better for us than Luminae.

huge scallops.. we find the smaller ones sweeter but these look tasty..not chewy!

my husb found res on his laptop.. We are paying total of $ 4,968 for 2 late Jan 2024. Seems prices went up overall since we booked, as expected..we are now priced out of AQ class.. next 2 cruises are an SV( APEX) and Conc Class ( Silhouette)

We found a nice covered shady spot at the outdoor area on Beyond but went early and once on a port day..no crowds. Of course no shade at the little pool. To avoid the sun, best to stay indoors or use the Solarium pool.

Glad we are set with our Aqua cabin on Ascent for Jan 2024, with All In pricing (grats, classic alc, basic wi -- not needed) Re: comments above that Virgin ships are identical..The X ships in each class ( Horizon/ Century/ Galaxy; M Class, S, & E) were/ are very similar but each has its own identity in some ways...Some had various changes and additions made along the way .They follow the pattern of their class but for us they do not feel cookie cutter..or boring. Celeb was much better in many ways when it had a smaller fleet.. Once Royal took it over it began to change, not an overall improvement, but X does have great ships! We are looking at a few other lines like Cunard and O but not Virgin ...

initially it was a cigar bar, then a piano style lounge, then for Cap Club Elites.. Many have had a turn at being in and out..!

yes but for us maybe planning far out would work..although some of the other itins sounded good too..London Symphony, literature cruises.. added bonus!

I believe those Retreat areas used to be Michaels Club Cigar Bar, then piano bar, then Cap Club for Elite bkfast and afternoon drinks.. Some became craft beer venues.. ..so almost everyone has been there one time or another..nothing special..We just ignore braggarts and clods!

met with a new trvl agent today..got brochures for Oceania, the QM 2 Cunard crossing (including a round trip itin) and A Mississippi River cruise...All possible??? Hope you are settling in back at home.

we were on X in ARUBA with a Carnival ship nearby. After lunch we walked to the store area. We could not believe the loud, pushy, wild behavior in the stores and and on the street and sidewalks as the passengers from that ship travelled along in packs. We went back to the ship early, only to be disrupted by loud, pulsating, party music with an obnoxious DJ...blaring from their outer deck..Our balcony and many others were in earshot.uselrss for the afternoon .It lasted until they left the port..Everyone was glad to seem them go!

I tried to do a CC search for an old thread (without success), where I posted several of my beautiful Celebrity flowers..I came across it the other day but didn't book mark it. They were truly lovely!

glad Cap Club still giving the rose. In AQ Class we used to have a small vase with a long lasting flower stem as well. I will try to bring in a small vase or arrangement..flowrrs brighten tjibgs ip so much..Always ordered several arrangements..
