The older ships can get a face lift but the underlying systems usually stay the same..A/C, electrical, sewer. So far, we won't sail on Infinity or Connie, any more and seems now Summit.

We had a great itin on ASCENT 1/28....with Tortola, St Kitts/Nevis and San Juan (stayed onboard). It was a higher fare than the alt itin but we picked it for the date..my b day. Very pleased with the itin and ASCENT...great dining other than the buffet which was overall sub par!

we were AQ class on ASCENT in Jan with " all included" booking and E + minutes.... Had no issues with sending or reading e mails, or uploading photos and posting to Cruise Critic from my phone.

We just had an earthquake this a.m est 4.8 Epicenter was in N.J..due west of Long Island, NY where we are..house shook back and forth... very un-nerving but no damage we can see..never experienced anytjing like that before!

we aporoached the pitons by a small boat..it was thrilling...swam at a small beach in their view ..A must see!

Hope you recovered from overheating...and long travel great pics... and rundown on this port.. Love the waterfalls and birds.. The termite mounds gave me the creeps.. So odd they build tall mounds. (We just hired a bug service, ..lots of ants here LI NY , inside and out, due to heavy rain....does not include termites..most of those here nip away from underground tunnels..)

would help to know which ship and the contents of the warning. and .what can you do..? We sailed Ascent Jan 28, 2024 Port Ev ..were sick 1st day home.. no air travel or hotels involved...we just drove from the parking garage to west coast fla..stopped for gas and pizza. Was not Covid..maybe flu..we had recent shot...but had worst body muscle cramps ever.. lo fever...it waz awful. Maybe our own shower had germs..no idea.

were they in a big storm? I imagine that a cruise without power, propulsion, A/C , water and internet seems awful! Hope food has not spoiled. Prayers for a safe journey for all onboard.

let's face it.. prices are going up..bargains are hard to find... But we still enjoy cruising..hope the ship crowding will taper off!

We never were tempted to book LPC.. menu seems limited, group dining at a set pace, and the animation gimmick does not appeal... Will trust your review...no need!

saw a few Spa Combo Specials in the posted dailies.. but $189 for the Massage plus other items I don't want..still seemed pricey. I am cutting back to just a facial on our next cruise....pre booked with discount was pricey and appt times were awkward.

On Ascent we had the regular internet "all.included", and are E plus.. It worked fine for a few e mails home and posting lots of pics for my "live from" review There is at least one current thread discussing the wifi/ internet with many unhappy posts and some technical info I can't understand.. Try to scroll through or search

What does the description say it includes? Have you googled snorkel on Nevis,? Our excursion on Nevis stopped at a beach but was not for snorkeling, afaik
